Today is the solemnity of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into heaven. For this occasion, you can pick up (from the back of StGeorge's Church) the book "Totus Tuus, Maria" by recently deceased Florian Kolfhaus, as well as some prayer cards.
If you can, leave a free will donation in the poor box or the collection basket at Mass.

RIP +Msgr. Florian Kolfhaus

As some of us already now, last week Msgr. Florian Kolfhaus died in Munich. Just over a year ago he came to stay with us for some weeks at St. George's, celebrating also some Masses with us both here and at St. Albertus. His death means a big loss to me personally. I am asking you to pray for him (see also below)

May eternal light shine upon him.

Hear with favour our prayers,
which we humbly offer, O Lord,
for the salvation of the should have Florian, your servant and Priest,
that he, who devoted a faithful ministry to your name,
may rejoice in the perpetual company of your Saint.
Through Christ, our Lord. Amen

Our Father. Hail Mary.
Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord.
And let perpetual light shine upon him.
May he rest in peace.
Amen.
May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
Amen

Corpus Christi Sunday

This Sunday, all friends and parishioners of our parish are encouraged to attend Mass, Procession and potluck lunch for the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) .

Consider also whom you might be able to invite for this unique celebration.

We will celebrate one Mass together at 9am , followed by the traditional procession through the neighbourhood.

For the procession , maximum visibility is important: consider carrying one of our flags (you can reserve a flag via the yellow signup , otherwise pick one up spontaneously at the end of Mass)
