We are seeking new voices to join our parish choir!

While a love for music brings us together, belonging to a choir is about much more than having a good voice. It is a sacred ministry of stewardship, prayer, service and community.

🎼 What does it mean to serve in the choir?

👂 A Listening Ear
The ability to listen, distinguish the music and blend our voices together as one body.
🙏 Stewardship
Honouring and respecting the unique vocal gifts God has entrusted to you.
📖 Dedication
A commitment to regular rehearsals, as well as practising independently at home.
⛪ Faithfulness
A dependable commitment to Sunday liturgies and extraordinary solemnities.

If you feel God may be calling you to serve Him and our parish through music, we invite you to come and discover the joy of this ministry.

🌿August 4 | Feast of St. Jean-Marie Vianney
Patron Saint of Parish Priests🌿

Today the Church celebrates St. Jean-Marie Vianney (1786–1859), the humble Curé of Ars, whose extraordinary holiness transformed an entire village and inspired countless souls to return to God.
Although he struggled in his studies and doubted his own abilities, St. Jean-Marie never doubted God's mercy. As a parish priest, he spent up to 16 hours a day in the confessional, offering Christ's forgiveness with profound compassion. Through his preaching, prayer, penance, and unwavering love for the Eucharist, thousands journeyed to Ars seeking healing, conversion, and peace.

His life reminds us that a holy priest is one of God's greatest gifts to His Church. Through their hands we receive the Holy Eucharist. Through their words we hear the Gospel. Through their ministry we receive absolution, anointing, and countless graces.

As we celebrate his feast, let us remember to pray for all priests—especially our own parish priests—that they may remain faithful, joyful, courageous, and deeply united to the Sacred Heart of Jesus.

📿"The priesthood is the love of the Heart of Jesus."
— St. Jean-Marie Vianney

🙏🏼Prayer for Our Parish Priests
Heavenly Father,
We thank You for the gift of our parish priests, whom You have chosen to shepherd Your people with love and fidelity.
Through the intercession of St. Jean-Marie Vianney, fill them with the fire of the Holy Spirit. Strengthen them in times of weariness, comfort them in moments of loneliness, and protect them from all temptation and discouragement.
Grant them wisdom to preach Your truth, compassion to care for every soul, humility to serve with joyful hearts, and courage to remain faithful to Your Gospel.
May they always be men of prayer, devoted to the Holy Eucharist, faithful ministers of Your mercy in the confessional, and shining witnesses of Christ's love.
Bless our parish, that we may support our priests with gratitude, kindness, and constant prayer.
We entrust all priests to the maternal care of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of Priests, asking her to wrap them in her mantle and lead them ever closer to her Son.
We ask this through Christ our Lord.
Amen.
🤍St. Jean-Marie Vianney, Patron of Parish Priests, pray for us.
