Invitation to Participate in Avurudu Celebrations – Open to All!
Dear Sri Lankan Community in Ottawa and Gatineau,
The Ottawa Buddhist Vihara is delighted to host our upcoming Avurudu Celebration next week, and we warmly invite you to take part in the festivities!
We especially encourage all children (outside of Sunday School), teenagers, youth, and adults to participate in performances and activities, including the always-popular "Vivida Adum" (Fancy Dress Parade) and traditional Avurudu games.
If you or your child would like to perform or join in, please contact Satheeka by May 17 to confirm your participation.
The more, the merrier! This event is open to everyone—there are no restrictions, and all are welcome to celebrate with us.
