Know Jesus. Grow Together. Love Others. In 1992, Community Bible Church began with a youth group and 2 Adult Small groups. It was so nice to have a home.

We had a vision to communicate, “You matter to God”, to our community. Once we had a core group of people, we rented out space at A.Lorne Cassidy Elementary School in Stittsville. We unloaded all our sound and light equipment, drums, chairs, toys, bins and boxes and STUFF every Sunday morning!! The church grew, and we moved to another location, AY Jackson High school in Kanata. We packed and unpac

ked each week, only this time there were more rooms that we occupied for our Children’s Ministry, and there was more room for chairs to put out for our growing congregation. One winter day, God blessed us with an opportunity to purchase a building in Stittsville, which used to be a hardware store. On October 18th, 2009, we opened up our doors to our very OWN building! Packing and unpacking our church were no longer part of a Sunday morning! We could focus on reaching out to our community and beyond! We have partnered with a village in Kenya, named, Seje. We have had various events to help this village obtain clean water and better education for their village. There is still so much more that we can do! At Community Bible Church we want to inspire people to love and follow Jesus! Be a part of our story.

We've been thinking about the prayer by Saint Francis of Assisi that Pastor Nathan shared on Sunday. As Pastor Nathan reminded us, even if we can't remember the prayer or don't have time to memorize it this week: every time we see a bird, the God of the Universe, who cares so much about that bird, cares even more about us.

Lord, help me to live this day, quietly, easily.
To lean upon Thy great strength, trustfully, restfully.
To wait for the unfolding of Thy will, patiently, serenely.
To meet others, peacefully, joyously.
To face tomorrow, confidently, courageously.

It's easy to trust God when everything is within our control. Faith grows when we place into His hands the things we never could control in the first place.
Whatever you're carrying today, entrust it to the One who is faithful. As you do, you'll discover that your confidence rests not in your circumstances, but in the God who holds them all.

Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of a new day. Before the noise begins and the schedule fills, help us to be still and remember that You are near.
Keep us from rushing past Your presence. As the morning light fills our homes, fill our hearts with Your peace. Shape our thoughts with Your truth, guide our steps with Your wisdom, and prepare us to love others with patience and grace.
May these quiet moments remind us that our worth is not found in what we accomplish today, but in being Your beloved children. Let us begin this day resting in Your goodness and walking in Your strength.

Heavenly Father,
When life unfolds differently than we had hoped, draw our hearts close to You. In moments of disappointment, keep us from bitterness, and in seasons of waiting, keep us from despair.
Help us to trust that even when we cannot see Your purpose, You are still at work. Give us grace to release what might have been and courage to embrace what You are doing today.
Remind us that our hope is not found in plans that succeed, but in the God who is always faithful. Teach us to rest in Your wisdom, Your timing, and Your unfailing love.
In Jesus' name, Amen.
