Last Tuesday, July 21, 2026, marked the tenth anniversary of the passing of our beloved predecessor, the Most Reverend Boniface Grosvold, Archbishop and Primate of the ORCC,LR.

Of blessed memory, +Boniface was a true friend of the poor and the afflicted, he bore witness to the mercy and compassion of Our Lord Jesus Christ through a life of humble service, steadfast faith, and unwavering pastoral charity. His episcopal ministry shone as a living testament to the truth of Christ's One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church, and his example continues to inspire those who knew him.

As we commemorate the tenth anniversary of his repose, we give thanks to Almighty God for his life, ministry, and enduring legacy. We commend his soul to the infinite mercy of God, praying that he may rest in peace and rise in glory at the Resurrection.

May he rest in peace, and may Light perpetual shine upon him.

A Requiem Mass was celebrated for his repose in a chapel located in Sainte-Marguerite-de-Beauce. In attendance were heirs to his apostolic succession.

Christ is Risen, Alleluia!

Rejoice and be glad! For by death, He conquered death; winning for us eternal life!

In these desperate times, when wars and the consequences of war envelop the whole world, let us endeavour to see with eyes of faith that which reason cannot perceive, namely, that where the world sees defeat; God finds victory.

Let our faith be the fulgent star that guides us, let charity be the sure vessel in which we navigate these troubled waters, and, let hope be our sustenance that nourishes us in the crossing.

Truly, He is risen!
