Temple Israel Ottawa Temple Israel, Ottawa’s only Reform congregation, invites you to come and experience our unique community.

We are an egalitarian,LGBTQ inclusive synagogue that welcomes non-traditional families, Jews by Choice and Inter-Faith couples and families. Friday Kabbalat Shabbat services begin at 6:15pm
On the 2nd Friday of every month, the service is followed by a casual BYOD “bring your own and some to share”

Shabbat Services begin on Saturdays at 10:15 a.m. Morning Minyan
Our morning minyans are twice a month, beginning at 7:30 and ending at 8:15 am.

A highlight of the event will be honouring Rev. Gary van der Meer of St. John the Evangelist Anglican Church and Rabbi Daniel Mikelberg of Temple Israel Ottawa for their dedication to building bridges of understanding between their congregations as a model for peaceful coexistence.
