Because we are weak, we must watch and pray, trusting the faithful Saviour who went willingly to the cross. On Sunday, Pastor Joy brought us a message from Mark 14:32-50 on “Our Weakness, His Faithfulness.” Here we see the humanity of Jesus on display as he expresses pain, agony, and suffering as he pours out his heart in prayer to his Father, preparing to face God’s judgment against sin. In this passage we also see the invitation to:

➡️ Watch and pray in your weakness (vv. 32-42)
➡️ Trust the faithful Saviour (vv. 43-50)

We all need the Lord’s mercy, grace, strength. The Holy Spirit himself helps us in our weakness, even as we pray.

If you have become prayerless or you are praying less, begin praying today. Return to God. Be honest with Him. Trust Him. Bring your cup of suffering to the Father.

I Believe in God, the Father Almighty by Pastor Adam

The Apostles’ Creed begins with four simple yet seismic words: “I believe in God.” For centuries, Christians have confessed this as the foundation of all faith. But what does it actually mean to believe in God? And what kind of God are we talking about—the vague spiritual force of popular culture revealed in Star Wars, or the living, triune God revealed in Scripture?

The first line of the Creed, “I believe in God, the Father Almighty,” invites us to recover a vision of God that is both intimate and immense—personal yet infinite, near yet utterly holy—immanent yet totally transcendent.

What It Means to Believe
Modern culture often treats belief as a matter of private opinion—something you “feel is true” rather than something anchored in reality. Faith, in this view, is blind, emotional, and disconnected from reason. But the Bible, and the Creed that echoes it, understands belief very differently.

What a special Sunday service we had over Thanksgiving weekend!

This past Sunday, Pastor Manasseh preached a message titled “How to Rejoice When Everything Falls Apart”, from Habakkuk 3:16-19. Through this passage, we are reminded of three powerful truths:

🙏 Tremble before the Lord, acknowledging His holiness and sovereign power.
✝️ Trust in Christ, who bore our judgment, endured the ultimate suffering, and rose again to secure our salvation.
🦌 Triumph through God's strength, who enables us to stand firm even on life's steepest and most dangerous heights.

The good news is that God does not merely send strength from a distance, He Himself is our strength! Our circumstances may change, but our God never does. In Christ, we have a hope that suffering cannot destroy and a victory that death cannot take away.

So, when everything else falls apart, remember Habakkuk's little but powerful word: “YET.”

“Yet I will rejoice in the LORD; I will take joy in the God of my salvation.” — Habakkuk 3:18

Remember Jesus. Rehearse His gospel. Resolve to rejoice!
