Lisa Elliott was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She had an unquenchable longing to know God from a young age and accepted Jesus as her Saviour at camp when she was fifteen years old. Lisa graduated from Ontario Bible College (Tyndale) with her Bachelor of Religious Education in 1985. While there, she also met her Pastor husband, David, and they were married in 1986. They have served

the Lord faithfully for over thirty years and together have raised four children (Natalie, Benjamin, Jacob and Erin). A gifted and popular speaker, Lisa’s ministry has impacted the lives of men and women across the nation at conferences, retreats, camps, and special events for the past twenty years. She has appeared on 100 Huntley Street and has been interviewed on Christian radio. Lisa is also an award-winning author of, The Ben Ripple and soon-to-be-released, Dancing in the Rain. Additionally, she is a writer for Just Between Us Magazine, Scripture Union’s theStory, and has her own column, Straight from the Heart" on Word Alive Press’s website. Her love for the Lord is contagious and her passion to share the life-changing truths and principles of God’s Word “Straight from the Heart” is inspiring.
