“At first, I thought I didn’t have an amazing testimony.
I grew up in the church. My parents are disciples, as are my younger siblings. I used to wonder how people find God later in life and choose to leave everything behind to completely change the way they live.
I didn’t have a perfect Christian childhood, but I witnessed how deeply and sincerely both of my parents loved God. They struggled with their traumas. They said things and did things they shouldn’t have, but they always came back in repentance—to God and to us.
I saw a power that could soften and transform the heart of a strong, tough man and a proud woman, turning them into loving, humble, and devoted parents.
Now I am a parent myself, and my greatest desire is for my children to find God—to know His unconditional love, endless grace, acceptance, and forgiveness.
Now, I realize that this is my testimony. Even when my world seems broken due to the war and lots of cruel deaths back home, even when I am far from my family and my friends, I still stand on the solid ground of faith and trust in a God who gives indescribable peace.”
