Our Story

Our parish began in the 19th century, but has grown and adapted as Nepean has changed and expanded. Today, Good Shepherd is a warm and loving community, bound together by meaningful friendships and a common faith in Jesus. We are a diverse group of different ages, ethnicities and talents but held together by a commitment to Christ and to each other.

We are Anglicans and Lutherans, under the authority of the Anglican Church of Canada and the Ev. Lutheran Church in Canada. We gather for worship each Sunday, enjoying a mix of modern and traditional music and liturgy. Sunday worship is important, but Good Shepherd also works to equip its members to live in the world with integrity and purpose, navigating the challenges of modern life with grace, humility and confidence.

We are also a welcoming community, open to visitors at any point in their spiritual journey: long-time believers, those seeking to grow in faith, and those who are simply curious. We hope you will join us. Check out our website for more.
