Merivale United Church is a welcoming and inclusive community in Ottawa (Nepean). We are drawn together through weekly worship, a strong dedication to making a positive impact through outreach, and the fun events (and food) we frequently share together. Built in 1876, our historic church building is a bright and inviting place to think, pray and sing. Outside too, the Merivale

gardeners have created an oasis in the city with our Millenium and Meditation gardens. Originally a rural church now in the heart of the city, Merivale has always grown and adapted to its ever evolving place in the world. Today we continue to be a vibrant community of all ages. All are welcome. Merivale is a two-point Pastoral Charge. Our sister church of over 50 years is Fallowfield United. Our two churches work together under the spiritual leadership of Rev. Sandra Yule.

After an exciting finish for Canada in the semi-finals, the Men's Hockey Olympic Gold-Medal game is set for 8:10AM this Sunday (Feb 22/26).

A large screen TV is being set up in the CE Hall at Merivale. All are welcome to come and watch. Drop in any time during the game if you are not an early riser. And feel free to bring any snacks or drinks that you might like.

A short service will follow in the Merivale Church.
