From Julia, Outreach Chair……

During August, our outreach efforts are focused on monetary donations in support of the Centretown Churches Social Action Committee's (CCSAC) Centretown Community Food Centre. Financial contributions allow the food bank to purchase most needed nutritious food in bulk.

How you can help:
· By cheque: make payable to St. Matthew’s, clearly note “CCSAC” in the memo line and put in the collection plate, or drop off or mail to the church

· By cash: clearly note on envelope “CCSAC,” include your name (if a parishioner) and also address (if not a parishioner) for tax receipt purposes, and put in the collection plate, or drop off or mail to the church

While we are focusing on monetary donations, we realize food items may be what you can give. Please give only the following most needed items: peanut butter, canned meat/fish/beans, dry pasta and pasta sauce.

Thank you for your continued generosity and compassion in supporting our neighbours in need!
