For the upcoming Sunday worship of September 6, 2026, service start time will begin at 10:30 a.m. We are continuing with reflection on the Book of Romans particularly chapter 13, focusing on the phrase to 'put on the Lord Jesus Christ'. The pertinent question to ask would be: if Jesus can be 'put on', can he be 'taken off', like one puts on and takes off a robe?

Joint Worship Service for the upcoming Sunday of August 30, 2026, 10 am. We will be observing the Holy Communion as well. St. Giles practices 'open communion', which means that we acknowledge those were baptized in other Christian traditions. We also invite baptized children to partake in the communion, as long as their parents are willing. Most of all, we are cognizant of the true host of the Lord Table, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, who invites all who have faith to come before the table, to see and taste that the Lord is good.

Our joint worship services with Glebe St. James United Church and Southminster United Church continues this Sunday of August 23, 2026, at 10:00 am. The sermon title is: "We Are One Body in Christ", with the focus passage of Romans 12:1-8. We will be exploring what it means to be the Church, with one body and many parts. Refreshment will be provided after the service. Come and join us in person, or online (stgilesottawa.org/worshipservices)

St. Giles is resuming its worship service this coming Sunday (August 16). We welcome those from the Glebe St. James United Church and Southminster United Church and any other visitors. The joint service starts at 10:00 am. There will be coffee and dessert served after the service. There is no Children Sunday School, but colouring materials are available. Come and join us!
