For the upcoming service of September 20, 2026, we are reflecting on the Parable of the Labourers in Matthew 20:1-16, particularly on the idea whether equality and justice are the same thing. There is something interesting, perhaps unique in God's kingdom when Jesus says, "The last will be first and the first will be last." What does it mean for our lives in the here and now?

Come join us. We will also be commissioning the teachers and helpers of the Children Sunday School.

For the upcoming Sunday worship of September 6, 2026, service start time will begin at 10:30 a.m. We are continuing with reflection on the Book of Romans particularly chapter 13, focusing on the phrase to 'put on the Lord Jesus Christ'. The pertinent question to ask would be: if Jesus can be 'put on', can he be 'taken off', like one puts on and takes off a robe?

Joint Worship Service for the upcoming Sunday of August 30, 2026, 10 am. We will be observing the Holy Communion as well. St. Giles practices 'open communion', which means that we acknowledge those were baptized in other Christian traditions. We also invite baptized children to partake in the communion, as long as their parents are willing. Most of all, we are cognizant of the true host of the Lord Table, Jesus Christ our Lord and Saviour, who invites all who have faith to come before the table, to see and taste that the Lord is good.

Thank you to the Finance & Maintenance team for the two new boilers, keeping the building heated during frigid winter nights. Such nuts-and-bolts dedication is what makes mission and ministries possible at St. Giles.
