🍪🧁 Collective Fundraiser Bake Sale! 🧁🍪

Join us on Wednesday, July 1, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and treat yourself while supporting a great cause!

This summer, seven youth and young adults from St. Andrew’s will be travelling to Brock University to attend the national Presbyterian Church’s Collective Conference -- an inspiring week of worship, learning, friendship, and faith formation.

We’re raising funds to help make this opportunity possible, and we’d love your support!

✨ How you can help:
🍪 Stop by and purchase some delicious homemade treats.
🥮 Donate baked goods for us to sell! Cookies, brownies, squares, and other goodies are welcome.

📍 Donations can be placed in the church freezer June 29-30.

Thank you for helping our young people participate in this meaningful faith-filled experience. We hope to see you at the bake sale!

Tuesday, June 23rd Ottawa Innercity Ministries is hosting a free bbq at Knox Presbyterian for our neighbours in need. Please share if you know someone who would appreciate this.

On June 23rd, our team and volunteers will be coming together once again for our Summer BBQ Meal ☀️🍔 as we serve our neighbours in downtown Ottawa with food, friendship, and compassionate care.

These gatherings are about more than a meal. They are about creating connection, reminding people they are valued, and offering hope through community and kindness ❤️

When you give to our Summer BBQ, you're helping a street friend feel seen and cared for. You can support this meal using the link in the comment!

This Sunday, June 14 — join us for a special celebration! We’re gathering to honor Rev. Karen on her final Sunday with the congregation before her retirement. Come be part of this meaningful day of gratitude, community, and fun.

After worship, stay for a picnic celebration featuring:
🍔 Burgers, salads & cake
🎉 Classic picnic games (tug-of-war, three-legged race, relays & more!)
🙏 A time of thanksgiving for this past year’s Music & Education Ministries
💬 Speeches and opportunities to share your goodbyes with Karen

If you’re able, please consider bringing a salad to share or helping with cleanup afterward.

✨ Free event — everyone welcome!

We hope to see you there as we celebrate Rev. Karen and all she has contributed.

📚 Love a good book and great conversation?
St. Andrew’s has a friendly book club that meets once a month to read and discuss a mix of fiction and nonfiction — and we’d be delighted to have you join us. Our next online gathering is on Friday, June 19 at 7:00pm, where we’ll be diving into "A Fatal Grace" by Louise Penny. Whether you’ve read it before or are picking it up for the first time, all are welcome to join the discussion.
Please contact Melanie A. (mjabbey76 .com) for the Zoom link.

This Sunday we welcome you to worship at 10:30am, where we will share in The Lord`s Supper together. The sermon from Rev. Dr. Karen Dimock is titled `Gathered by the Spirit` based on readings from Psalm 121 and Acts 10:1–16.

Afterward, please stay for a lunch and learn, discussing the topic of stewardship!

💡 Curious about Stewardship?

📅 Sunday, June 7

Join us for an informal and engaging conversation as we explore questions such as:
• Why is it called stewardship, and why does it seem so important right now?
• When does a $100 gift to St. Andrew’s not actually cost you $100? (You'll like this answer!)
• When is a $100 gift to St. Andrew’s not really a $100 gift to St. Andrew’s? (You may not like this one quite as much.)
• What is tithing, and do people still practice it today?
• How does inflation affect giving?
• How much should you give to St. Andrew’s?
• What's the best way to give—envelopes, PAR, online giving, e-transfer, or stocks?
• What is legacy giving, and how can it benefit both you and St. Andrew’s?

We hope you`ll join us for a relaxed discussion, practical information, and insights that may prove valuable for you and your family.
