• God does not respond to fear with demands, but with concrete promises.
• Divine service, prayer, and fellowship are channels through which we can experience God’s presence.

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

As has been announced we will be joining the Toronto and Eastern Canada Youth at Marion Hall at the University of Ottawa this Sunday, August 2nd 2026. There is no parking directly outside the building as has been the case in previous years, so please anticipate a 5-10 minute walk from where you park. Those with disabilities or requiring wheelchair access however can be dropped off directly in front of the building. If this is required for you or a family member and you have not already done so, please contact myself or Ev(i.r.) John Kanabe to make specific arrangements. It is recommended that the Congregation Park at either Parking Lot M (40 Mann Ave) OR Mann Garage (33 Mann Ave) however both of these options are paid parking. The congregation also has the option of parking at the Sandy Hill Community Center (250 Somerset St E) for free however parking will be limited. Alternatively, there is paid parking available at Parking Lot K (90 University Private). For those who wish, after the divine service both congregations are invited to join the youth for lunch in the University of Ottawa Dining Hall as well.

Thank you for your continued prayers towards this event, we are looking forwards to hosting over 170 youth for a weekend full of faith, friendship, fellowship, and memorable experiences for all - it truly will be a blessing!

For August 2nd Divine Service

There is a special service this Sunday Aug 2nd with the Ap. Jonathan Sturm with both congregations and the Youth.

It starts at 10:30 am on Sunday Aug 2nd and as well there will be a lunch afterwards that will end at 2:00 pm.

You should arrive earlier for parking reasons.

The location of the service to be dropped off at is Marion Hall
