When someone makes a blunder, you can choose
To guide them with your wisdom, or refuse.
It hinges on your willingness to share,
Or if you have a hidden motive there.
At times, you may assume you are right in that instance
And that is why you act as their mentor.
But this is also an opportunity
To broaden your perspective and to see
That errors vary, shaped by culture too.
So, when you spot a flaw, you have three ways:
Ignore it, mock it, or embrace it and
Transform yourself into a better person,
Who can transcend the limits of the lake.
For you can see the mistake as a seed that sprouts
That needs your care and encouragement to grow
A greater potential that improves your creation
With yourself, the world, and the other too.
But what if you see the mistake as a seed that dies
Without the sun or air to make it rise?
How can you live with such a wasted chance
To lose yourself, the world, and the other's glance?
