Peace be with you.

Dear Friends in Faith,

The first Friday of the Month (Nov 1) falls on All Saints Day as we honour the countless saints who have gone before us, and in the spirit of All Souls Day (Nov 2), we come together in heartfelt prayer for all who have departed.

This First Friday, let us unite, guided by the love of Mary, to follow her path to Jesus. Mary, who witnessed her Son’s journey to Calvary, invites us into her heart, to feel the depth of her sorrow and her steadfast faith.

In this time of reflection, we will pray for each other, for peace throughout our world, offering our intentions and opening our hearts to God’s grace and eradication of all cancers. Let us be a source of strength and comfort for one another, sharing in the gift of community and the peace that comes from prayer.

Let us walk together, with Mary as our guide, toward her Son, Jesus.

Join us on November 1st via Zoom. Please do share with all your friends, family and parishes.

La paix soit avec vous.

Chers amis dans la foi,

Le premier vendredi du mois (1er novembre) coïncide avec la Toussaint, alors que nous honorons les innombrables saints qui nous ont précédés. Dans l’esprit de la Commémoration des fidèles défunts (2 novembre), nous nous réunissons en prière sincère pour tous ceux qui nous ont quittés.

Ce premier vendredi, unissons-nous, guidés par l’amour de Marie, pour suivre son chemin vers Jésus. Marie, qui a été témoin du chemin de croix de son Fils jusqu’au Calvaire, nous invite dans son cœur pour ressentir la profondeur de sa douleur et la solidité de sa foi.

En ce temps de réflexion, nous prierons les uns pour les autres et pour la paix dans le monde entier, en offrant nos intentions et en ouvrant nos cœurs à la grâce de Dieu et à l’éradication de tous les cancers. Soyons une source de force et de réconfort les uns pour les autres, partageant le don de la communauté et la paix que procure la prière.

Marchons ensemble, avec Marie comme guide, vers son Fils, Jésus.

First Call for photos of your fathers, grandfathers if you would like to be included and dedicated for the Tribute to Fathers at end of the June 2 Mary’s Way of the Cross. Please let us know the name of your father and if living or deceased. Please send on or before May 29th. Please note zoom link below for June 2. We will send only ONE reminder on June 2 around noon time.

I am very honoured to have as our Special Co-Host for Mary’s Way of the Cross on June 2, Father Jérôme José, CSC from Saint-Joseph’s Oratory.

Le français suit
It has been a Catholic tradition through the centuries to meditate on the Way of the Cross, so that it becomes our way of life.
Mary the Mother of Jesus made that first Way of The Cross. These Stations called Mary’s Way of The Cross attempt to present that viewpoint.
Through Mary’s eyes we see what Jesus was going through on the way to Calvary.

C'est une tradition catholique à travers les siècles de méditer sur le chemin de croix, afin qu'il devienne notre mode de vie.
Marie la Mère de Jésus a fait ce premier chemin de croix. Ces stations appelées Chemin de croix de Marie tentent de présenter ce point de vue.
À travers les yeux de Marie, nous voyons ce que Jésus traversait sur le chemin du Calvaire.
