Relay for Life is officially underway!

Here are a few pictures from today at Maxwell Heights Secondary School as students, staff, and community members gather together to support the fight against cancer.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported this effort so far. I’m excited to share that our church team has raised $1,239.02 toward the Canadian Cancer Society! Our goal is $1,500, and we’re getting close!

The event runs until 6:30 pm today. If you’re available, we’d love to have a few more people stop by and support the cause. We are also looking for a couple volunteers to help staff our church table between 3:00 pm and 6:30 pm.

Most importantly, let’s continue praying that God would use this opportunity to bless our community, encourage those affected by cancer, and help us be a positive presence in the lives of those around us.

Let’s see if together we can reach our $1,500 goal!

There's a force that keeps me going, even when the answers aren't clear and challenges feel overwhelming. Before Christ, I lacked this power. Now, with Him, I have the strength to press forward, no matter the struggle.

Don't live by this world's calendar. You're in the world, but not of it. The greatest awards aren't from the Oscars, but from heaven. We'll receive crowns and lay them at Jesus' feet, giving Him all the honor.
