❤️🙌🏽 WHAT AN AMAZING DAY, OSHAWA! 🙌🏽❤️
Our hearts are FULL after today’s ALG Community Picnic!
Approximately 200 people joined us today, including almost 100 children! Seeing the field filled with families, hearing the laughter, watching the kids enjoying the activities, games and prizes, and hearing so many of them tell us how much fun they had made all the work worthwhile. ❤️
A HUGE thank you to every family, neighbour and friend from our community who came out and spent the afternoon with us. You made the day special!

We were so grateful to have Durham Regional Police officers join us and stay with us throughout the entire picnic!

You cooked and served food, set up and tore down, welcomed families, ran children’s activities, youth games and fitness courses, handled registration and prizes, worked AV and operations, led worship, solved problems behind the scenes and kept serving right to the very end.
Our Worship Team was on fire 🔥, our AV and operations teams worked incredibly hard and efficiently, our food team served tirelessly, and people across our church family simply saw what needed to be done and jumped in.
We are TIRED tonight 😂…but our hearts are FULL! ❤️
Our desire for this picnic was simple:
To give back to our community with no strings attached and demonstrate the love of Jesus in a practical way.
Today we worshipped.
We served.
We ate together.
We laughed and played.
We built relationships.
We made memories.
And most importantly, we loved our community.
