A scholarship. A dream. A music camp. 🎡

For Orly Alexis, music has always been more than a passionβ€”it's a way to serve others. Using a scholarship she received in Grade 12, she created a music camp that gave children the opportunity to explore music, build confidence, and experience community.

At the end of the week, her students presented her with a handmade thank-you card covered in crooked writing and backward music notes. To them, it was just a card. To Orly, it was a reminder of why she chose education and music in the first place.

In a culture built around attention, comparison, and self-promotion, Christ invites us into something better: freedom.

The gospel reveals a God whose love is not self-seeking but self-giving. Through Jesus, we are not condemned to remain slaves to our habits, temptations, or addictions. His victory makes freedom possible.
