Though they did not know it, the Roman soldiers guarded a tomb that would soon be empty. Jesus would burst forth, victorious over death! Today, on Holy Saturday, we wait in silent contemplation to celebrate the Saviour's resurrection.

Today we remember the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, God's only Son, and His willingness to die on the cross in our place. Jesus did this, without having ever committed a crime or sin. He died in our place to receive the punichment we deserve, all so that we could find salvation and spend eternity with Him. Believe it, ... count on it, ... and tell others about God's wonderful gift.

This Saturday we host our "Easter for Kids" event and on Sunday we celebrate "Palm Sunday" which ushers in the observances of "Holy Week" on the calendar.
Palm Sunday is a day of meaning and fortelling in preparation of Jesus' sacrifice to come. It points to Jesus as the promised Messiah and also shows us the type of Saviour He is, not an earthly king, but a heavenly one. The shadow of the cross goes before Him as He fulfils the Old Testament prophesies every step of the way.
We hope you will join us through this most holy and important week of the Christian year.
