According to the National Inquiry into Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls (MMIWG), Indigenous women and girls are 12 times more likely to be murdered or go missing than non-Indigenous women in Canada.

Liz Stone, Chair of our Indigenous Health Advisory Circle speaks to the importance of the day and the responsibilities we all have to advocate for change and together, we can build a more just and equitable future for all.
