Millennium Park will transform into an outdoor circus this summer as Peterborough Academy of Circus Arts celebrates its 10th anniversary with a free family event.

Circus in the Park takes place Saturday, July 25 from 9:30 am to 1 pm at Millennium Park.

Prayer is not simply a way of asking God to change our circumstances. It is an invitation to meet with Him in the middle of them. Sometimes the situation changes. Sometimes the answer comes quickly. And sometimes the road remains difficult for a season. But even then, something beautiful happens. Fear begins to loosen its grip. Hope starts to rise again. Peace settles into places that once felt overwhelmed. 🙌

We remember that we are not carrying life's burdens alone. God is with us. Walking beside us. Strengthening us. Holding us steady one step at a time. If you're facing something heavy today, don't underestimate the power of a simple prayer. The God who hears you is closer than you think.

Please pray for the people of the Philippines, where a magnitude-7.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Mindanao island in the southern part of the country at 7:37 a.m. local time on Monday, causing widespread damage and destruction. The number of those killed or injured is still being determined.

God of justice and compassion,
You call us to be peacemakers in a world that longs for healing.
Be present with those who grieve,
those who live in fear,
and those who continue to struggle for dignity and justice.
Strengthen all who seek truth.
Guide leaders in the ways of accountability and peace.
Move our hearts beyond silence into faithful action.
Help us to work together—across communities and faiths—
in solidarity and hope,
trusting in your vision of a just and peaceful world.
Amen.
