Today’s Scripture: He will lift you up!

You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great.
Psalm 18:35 (NIV)

Do you ever wonder why we go through times where we worry more than we might’ve before? Why do we allow ourselves to get worked up sometimes, and other times we face similar situations without that same worry & stressing?

We worry because in those times we have forgotten that Our God is all-powerful!!
We worry because we forget about God’s Omnipotence!! We forget what He’s capable of and we start to believe we must take care of things ourselves. We start panicking!! Getting ourselves all worked up & into the false narrative that says, “hey, kid…you’re on our own”. And in the reality of our circumstances, we realize that on our own, we just might not be able to handle it! And you know what? That’s exactly right…. WE sincerely cannot handle it! Those are the honest to God, Facts!! AND…That FACT—is precisely why we need Him!!
God wants us to realize and admit our weakness so He can be strong on our behalf.

God often wants to do through us, what is beyond us, on our own —in our way, in our weaknesses and beyond our comprehension. So, when you’re faced with a situation in which you feel weak or powerless, rather than worry, call upon the Only One who takes care of the situation, all & every situation! Every circumstance!
The sooner we realize that we can’t do it all on our own (and more importantly, that we don’t have to!!)… we can stop making our lives more complicated, difficult & harder than it has to be! Because no matter how hard we work at trying our hardest, only to once again, find ourselves stuck & coming up short, whenever we attempt to navigate through this life on our own!
Trying and trying but over & over again, continuously falling short due to who we are! Due to our limitations as fragile, temporary residents, humanity flowing through our veins. BUT—The Good News is found when we find and surrender to The One, Jesus Christ, God’s Own Son! When we accept The Truth, we come to realize that we were never designed, nor equipped to go at this life alone, never created to do this life—feeling helpless & powerless—by ourselves. That’s when God’s power is able to take care of whatever concerns you have! Knowingly, we can come before Him, without a shadow of a doubt, and with the upmost confidant endurance, that Jesus Christ is now and forever, always by our side! Therefore, knowing THIS TRUTH—We are Never, ever alone!! Hallelujah!!
Now with confidence, anything we need is up for the asking!
So, now how do we go about life with Jesus Christ with us? Ready for us to do our lives In Christ?
We must first humble ourselves, admit we are powerless and ask for His Strength to get us through. God’s Word tells us in James 4:10 to, “Humble yourselves before the sight of The Lord, and he will lift you up.”
David; the gifted Psalmist, says in Psalm 18:35 “You have also given me the shield of Your salvation, And Your right hand upholds me; And Your gentleness makes me great” (NASB).
That verse illustrates the gentleness of God that empowers us when we’re weak and when we call upon Him for help in whatever it is that we need to do. He stoops down from heaven to where we are and makes us great. He is able to do through us what is beyond us. Whatever your circumstance, if you’re feeling weak and full of worry right now, His power is available to you for the asking.
God has done His part—the choices we make from here, are our own.

God bless!!

Today’s Scripture -In Everything

“In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.”
—1 Thessalonians 5:18

The verse doesn’t say we should give thanks for every thing; it says we should give thanks IN every thing. We don’t have to be glad or thankful that tragedies occur. But we can be thankful that, in spite of the tragedy, God is still on the throne, and He is still in control of all circumstances that surround our lives.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen 🙏 and Amen 🙏

Yours in Christ,

Today’s Scripture -Changes’ Casualties

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind”.
Romans 12:2 (NIV)

Change has always seemed extra scary to me. I wish I could understand what & why “change” seemingly throws me off the deep end…. but I doubt that I will ever fully comprehend every single reason why. And that’s okay!!
I don’t need to KNOW everything!!
I don’t want to KNOW everything!!
Some things are NOT meant for us/ me, to fully comprehend, understand or need to be explained, nor owed an explanation for or even be aware of…. And that’s a lesson that is better learned & accepted for what it is! GOD DOES NOT OWE US ANY EXPLANATIONS!! NONE!! Period!!

In our world today, we demand answers! We are taught to question everything, yet resent others questioning us! We want answers—and we want them NOW!! (just ask “Siri”; “Alexa”; “Google”; “Instagram” and so so so much more, “Get answers quicker”, platforms!!)
We are in a world where “Exercising patience and compassion”, is often used as a character flaw! Or at least, is viewed as a personal weakness!!
We demand instant responses!! And become offended quicker than the blink of an eye!! Our children aren’t being taught / nor given the skills on how to TRULY COMMUNICATE with one another!!
We want what we can’t have! And we overlook all that we have been given!
Justification overrides Truth!
Being Right is more important than being honest!
Getting it done fast overrides doing it right & finishing what we started…well, that too is often missing the key ingredients of finishing with the same degree of care and precautions that we started out with.
And; being truthful about how we are feeling is becoming a serious faux pas!!
Morality is looked down upon, and shames us as weak minded individuals! Self help and Getting an edge on others is being taught by action & deed; instead of embracing our differences and “holding the door open for others to enter in before you”!! (a dying art of true chivalry & mutual respect).
Being RIGHT has begun to triumph over TRUTH. And Faith, Hope & Love just reads as an inspirational social media platform post! But the reality of those fundamental principles—are getting lost in a world of “me, me, me” FIRST!
Sadly, more & more… we’re lacking respect, compassion, empathy, loyalty, self-discipline and restraint.
We compare! We complain! We don’t have TIME for the family values that raised up generations full of hardworking, dedicated, loyal, supportive, strong, caring, steadfast and true role models!!
And if we don’t become THE CHANGE that we want to see in the world, then carry on doing nothing! And look where that’s got the world around us right now?!?!!!
We expect the best ! And we ignore the reality of what’s happening in this world as we ignore each other, yet are living life side by side with every creed, race, religion, skin colour, etc…
We demand respect!
And that’s all a part of what TRUE FAITH in ACTION, looks like!!!
We have NO right to be upset when God has different plans for us than the ones we’d rather have picked out for ourselves.

What are we truly willing to sacrifice in order to bring significant changes into a world of hurting people, who are hurting people?!?!

God’s Plan will prevail!!

For God’s Sake—May our lives be lived in the Hands of Christ Jesus, Our Lord!! Amen!! 🙏🏻

God bless!!

Today’s Scripture - Just HIS Word

But we are looking forward to the new heavens and new earth he has promised, a world filled with God’s righteousness. And so, dear friends, while you are waiting for these things to happen, make every effort to be found living peaceful lives that are pure and blameless in his sight. And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. This is what our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you with the wisdom God gave him—
speaking of these things in all of his letters. Some of his comments are hard to understand, and those who are ignorant and unstable have twisted his letters to mean something quite different, just as they do with other parts of Scripture. And this will result in their destruction.
2 Peter 3:13-16 (NLT)

Don’t change the Word of God to fit into your own agenda or narrative. There is nothing more that angers the Lord, than the intentional twisting of His Holy Word!

Do not add to it.
Do not leave parts out to suit your own purposes.

When we know what is Right and True!
When we know the Word of God, and ignore or neglect It’s Truth…. God warns of the consequences, dangers and risks to not only your soul, but the damage your wayward teaching, misdirection or skewed personal beliefs of the Truth, or misleading opinions may bring about harm to His Children! The very ones that God Himself has put forward for you to protect, care for and truthfully direct throughout His Word! Doing so with careful care, that they may KNOW the TRUTH and therefore be well EQUIPPED & PREPARED by The Truth of God’s Holy, Unchanging Word!
One of the scariest things we could possibly choose to do is to teach or mistakenly guide from our own agendas that serve us or suit us and not The Lord Our God! We must be careful and INTENTIONAL to no longer lean on own understanding, but rather trusting in God’s All Knowing Wisdom! Surrendering our old ways and leaning on The True and Righteous Understanding of God! Acknowledging His Ways! That God will make our paths straight!
Ultimately, we are accountable for leading God’s people down a slippery pathway of our own making if we so much as dabble in manipulating His Word!
Be sure that everything you say and everything you do is correct, in line, honest and is taught or shared in Context accordingly to God’s Every Word!

Quite simply: God’s Word is Everything!! And Everything can be explained by and through His Holy Word, Alone!
There is never any good reason for us to add or take away from The Living, Breathing Word of God! The Truth! That IS “The Bible”.
Everything we will EVER need is found within The Holy Scriptures.
Allow God to be Clearly Heard!!
…after all, do you think you can possibly outdo The God of The Heavens and The Earth?!! He IS More Than ENOUGH!!
All we will ever need is Just The Word!

In His Service,
April Hunt

Today’s Scripture -
God can do a lot with a little.

Humble yourself in the sight of The LORD, and He will lift you up.
James 4:10

Give God YOUR best today, and watch Him do good works through & for you. Even if what you think is just too little—God will use a little and do so much more than we ourselves could do with a lot by your own strength.
Submit and Commit ALL you do for The Lord and He will do great things with whatever you got!!

Humbly we pray, O Lord, for Your Devine Hand to guide my head, heart, and soul. May we walk in humility. Giving, submitting, committing and surrendering our lives to You, O Heavenly Father.
May our works for the day, be a pleasing sight to You. Thank You, Lord!! In Christ Jesus’ Name, Amen 🙏 and Amen 🙏

God bless!!

Today’s Scripture- Remaining IN Jesus!
The Recipe Of Love 💞

“I am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesn’t produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me. “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing. Anyone who does not remain in me is thrown away like a useless branch and withers. Such branches are gathered into a pile to be burned. But if you remain in me and my words remain in you, you may ask for anything you want, and it will be granted! When you produce much fruit, you are my true disciples. This brings great glory to my Father. “I have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father’s commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you.
John 15:1- 12 (NLT)

Love.
Remain.
Love.
Repeat daily.

Like the secret ingredients for a family heirloom recipe — if you have the right ingredients, and you follow the instructions, the result will be as it should be. And, yes!! If it tastes like grandma use to make it… an even bigger bonus of a job well followed!!
Now— Jesus clearly has given us the “not so secret”, ingredients! He also left clearly stated instructions. Thus, the same ingredients that were given and the same instructions that were given are always available to each and everyone of us.
Jesus came and made this commandment of Love, crystal clear! Jesus, emphasized love emphatically.
And The Truth for us is available!! 24/7
If we only just take these ingredients and remember them by following the instructions, the outcome will be a life filled with more love, more grace, more forgiveness, more peace, more joy… These are added, bonuses for repeating and remaining faithful to the recipe.
The recipe for a life filled with Good Fruit, is a life filled with Jesus Christ!!

Thank You, Jesus!! We love you!! We desire to stay and remain in You!! May there be more and more of You, In our daily lives!! We need You, Lord. Guide and Guard us as we faithfully seek You Out In All Ways. In Jesus’ Holy Name, we pray! Amen 🙏 and Amen 🙏

God bless!!

Today’s Scripture- Don’t put your trust in mere humans! Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath...
01/15/2026

Today’s Scripture- Don’t put your trust in mere humans!

Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath. What good are they?
Isaiah 2:22 (NLT)

What a powerful passage from our reading here in God’s Word!
I must admit, I almost didn’t share this with you today. Why?.... well, the old saying I grew up with still lingers in my ears: If you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all.
I know.... this Scripture in no way or fashion is relevant to that rather wise (and Biblically sound), word of caution. So, why then did I automatically, and subconsciously, feel the weight of sharing this Scripture with you today?
The answer is firmly found within the words of this very Scripture! You see; As a human, my so called “better nature”, tells me to pass along ways in-which I can share with you good feelings, and provide uplifting thoughts for you. This passage by Isaiah challenges me... it challenges all of us! It has us looking at ourselves, and asking of ourselves the tough questions! And in that, we might not find such fluffy answers, no matter how hard we look. And let’s be honest with each other; most of us are interested in only passing along light reflections in this era of tough times, and tougher situations. But, it’s also our responsibility to spread The Word of God, in it’s entirety to the world! That means that not all that we share will automatically make us feel the good goosebumps, of God’s Word.
Behind every Scripture, is a lesson to be learned! Understood, digested, tested, and ultimately “to be applied” to our lives!
It’s so easy for us in these “new” times, marking a new normal for us all; post our days of quarantine, to look for and find someone: some human, to “Follow”! To “Like”! To “agree with”! To thumbs up! To invest our time, our interests, and our lives on. It’s the ultimate worldly trapping. It’s camouflaged with feel good gift wrap, and makes us desire that emotional feeling, in a time of being alone, we are wanting more than ever to find that human connection. After all, we all have enough to worry about! Enough fear going on all around us! and the last thing we want is to feel anything other than to find a brief human moment that’ll help us to find ways to escape from the harsh realities of today. However, just because something makes us feel good, doesn’t mean that it is in fact “good for us”! Not all of the feel-goods are really and truly good at all.

This Scripture asks a question of each of us. It stops us and makes us consider what, or whom we are putting our trust in! So, the question in Today’s Scripture is this: What good can come from putting all of our trust (our time, our energy, our efforts, our hearts, our lives,...etc), in “mere humans? When The Bible is clearly telling us that human trust is as “frail as breath”. Think about how profound that Statement is!?!
And what happens to all humans? Including the wise man, Isaiah, in whose question we are discussing today? Like all humans, the Bible tells us that we are all “frail as breath”! “What good are they?” that we’d put our trust into another human?
What human is bigger than our God?!! What human has lived for eternity?? Apart from Our God?? None. Not one. Zero. Zilch. None!
From the dust we came, to the dust we shall return again! “Don’t put your trust in mere humans. They are as frail as breath”....

Further Scripture tells us that we serve a jealous God. So, what does that mean?
It means; that God wants us; commands us even!! To have One God Alone! We cannot serve two masters!! Our God - He wants us to choose each day; to Follow Him!, Obey Him!, Worship Him!, Put Him Above ALL OTHERS! To Always Choose God First! Desire God with all of our hearts!, To Love God above all else! Putting Him First! Trusting in God, and God Alone! What good can come from putting all of our eggs in the baskets of frail and fleeting humans? Nothing good at all. Our passage says today, “What good are they?” What good can come from putting anything, or anyone, above Our Almighty God!?!
I’m going to venture out and say, that I believe we can all collectively agree on the answer to this??!!?? Amen?? 🙌🙌🙏🏼🙌🙌

It seems rather simple to say, “that’s easy! I am fully equipped to not trust anyone but God”.....but when the rubber hits the road (as the old saying goes), it’s much easier said than done! However, we have been Given An Extraordinary Gift- we’ve been given a Saviour! Jesus Christ! Who came from The Heaven’s! Born into this world as fully human, and yet still fully God! His Name IS the ONLY WAY in which we can be washed by His Blood, removing the blemishes and stains of our sinfulness, by our belief in Him, in Who He IS. Trusting in God, that action in itself, The Bible tells us, that our Trust!, our Hope! Our Belief in Christ Jesus, washes away a multitude of sin! His Life and His Death- His Resurrection, have paved The Only Way, for us to enter into an Eternity with The Living God! An Eternity of Worshiping our Lord and Saviour, there at His Feet!! Placing our trust in The God of All Creation, will be the Only Way to eternally feel the way in which we so desperately long to feel in this world today. So, take heart! Trust in the Truth of God’s Word! It’s ALWAYS available to you! It’s never fleeting! And it’s The Very Breath of God! That’ll never fail or fade away!! Will you choose to place your Trust in Our Heavenly Father, today?!
If you answered, Yes! Let us be the first to join you in a triumphant, “Hallelujah!!”

So, friends, when tempted to put your trust into anything other than That of God, be reminded that mere humans are as frail as breath!
Apart from God, no human being on this earth can save your soul and bring you eternal life, and the peace of mind that God Alone CAN provide! Amen to that! Amen to all the lives that recommitted or committed for the first time today, in trusting God! And becoming a faithful follower of Jesus Christ, Our Lord.

Ps. If there’s anything that we can stand with you in prayer for today, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or message us with your private prayer requests. We’re here 24/7 to pray with and for you. In The Matchless Name of Jesus Christ! Hallelujah!!

God bless you all!!

01/12/2026

Today’s Scripture- Good Old days!

Don’t long for “the good old days.” This is not wise. Ecclesiastes 7:10 (NLT)

Oh wow! Do not long for the good old day’s.... this is not wise! Boy oh boy! How many times have we said, “if only I could do that/this over again?” Or long for a time in our lives where everything appeared to be the best times yet?!?!
I know that I can raise my hand (hands, fingers, feet and even toes!) admitting that I sometimes fall into that “meaningless” trap of hoping for times in “the good old day’s”.
It’s often hard to remember that it’s the same God we serve that gives and takes away—Oftentimes for our own good!
To see us grow and seek His Wisdom, Guidance and Counsel in the next season of our lives. It isn’t always mountain tops with breathtaking views, but rather the seasons of being down in the dust, dry messy, and often a slippery trek through the valleys that the most wisdom, teaching and Godly discipline and love is formed and discovered.
In THAT important part of our lives.—
The Bible tells us that it’s a journey here upon this earth. And in those journeys, we must climb through the messiness of life’s lessons in order to make it to the tops of the mountain peeks, overlooking ALL that we have accomplished WITH GOD to get to the stunning view we get to enjoy, be grateful and humbled by.
Friends! Let us remember—That the valleys in our lives, build up our character and reveal our sincerity in our walk/relationship with Christ Jesus, Our Lord and Saviour.

Thank you, Heavenly Father for the good old day’s! Thank You for the memories, triumphs and things we’ve been able to do! To see! To enjoy! To overcome, because of Your Great Unfailing Love You’ve blessed us with!
Today O Lord, we come in humility and worship, seeking only that which we know You alone can provide! We come knowing that if we seek You with our whole hearts, There You’ll Be! Ever Patient! Ever Holy! Thank You Jesus, that we are free to seek! and to find!
We ask for more and more of Your Holy Word, in our hearts. May our weaknesses be refreshed! May our parched throats be satisfied by the giving of Your Life Saving Stream of Water, as we make our way through the next dark and dreary valley up ahead. Or as we stand upon the peeks of a mountain top that we thought we’d never reach, nor see.
God, today some of us are currently walking in that valley. Desperately trying to find our ways up that mountain ahead. May Your Presence and Strength, get us to a new mountain top! Victorious in The Lord! Standing tall upon another “good day”! Another of Your memorable, gifting views, that We’ve journeyed through side by side, with the Only True, Living God! Jesus Christ! The Creator of yet another “good old day” in the lives of those who’ve put their whole hearts into looking towards YOU!! The Ultimate! Unimaginable View of Your Glory!!!
We thank You, Heavenly Father! Thank You for all the ways You have Chosen to reveal Yourself In and Throughout Creation!! We can only imagine the Eternal View we will Behold, as we reach our Heavenly HOME!! Hallelujah!!!
In Jesus’ Name we pray, Amen and Amen! 🙏

God bless you all richly!

01/11/2026

Today’s Scripture- God’s Daily Reminder, 365 Day’s a Year!

"Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.”
Philippians 4:6-7

Something that I’ve learned personally, on my journey with God and throughout His Word, is that if God has to repeat something more than once, how important do you think that message is for you and I to hear? If God has to repeat it, then we must examine how important and vital it is that we pay attention to His Repeated reminders!!
As any good father (or parent) would say, when trying to get something drilled into our hearts and our oftentimes stubborn heads,
“How many times must I repeat myself?” ; or
“I shouldn’t have to tell you more than once”.
Just like our earthly father’s (parents, grandparents, and wise teachers), when something is of great importance, or a lesson so vital that we need to hear! One in which we’ll never forget! That we learn and inevitably engrave in our hearts and minds! Something so important that it becomes second nature, not to be forgotten.
Then, as we mature and are no longer children. The conversation changes in a heartfelt, but sternly given response —at that point we will often hear them say, “I shouldn’t have to keep repeating myself, you know by now how important THIS IS!!”.

I truly believe that’s how God feels when He has to repeat Himself in His Word to us.
365 times (and counting!) we hear God reminding us to not worry! and to not be afraid. That’s a daily reminder for each day of the calendar year. I honestly don’t know how much clearer a case that God could make than that!! I think it’s far more than any earthly parent would have the patience, let alone the endurance to help us after countless years, decades, and ways to try and get the message through. I doubt we’d blame any parent for giving up after having repeatedly expressed the importance of the message for our own sakes!!
Now, when we hear our GOD repeat Himself so many times throughout His Word, it’s definitely no longer mere “food for thought”!! At this point, It’s a Gracious and Loving God, giving us a commandment! One that brings US the benefits, and cost everything to Christ Our Lord, Whose Sacrifice made it possible for us NOT TO WORRY! NOT TO FEAR! As Our Beloved Saviour carried all of our anxieties, worries, and fear upon His Shoulders!! Jesus Christ’s Ultimate Sacrifice!! So you and I may live! What a Mighty God we Serve!!! Hallelujah!!

Life can turn around some uncertain corners, and sometimes it can be difficult to maintain a positive attitude about the future. When you're experiencing doubt or worry, whether it's about a difficult family situation, a health problem, or other obstacle, consider turning to the Bible to find verses about hope or encouraging verses about healing. It's never easy to be completely sure about unknown outcomes in life, and everyone needs a little reassurance that things will work out in the end. While it's easy to worry endlessly about what-ifs and worst-case scenarios, the Bible can provide some helpful guidance to calm you down during uncertain times.

"Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.”
Matthew 6:34

"Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to your life?” Luke 12:25

The phrase “do not be afraid” is written in the Bible 365 times. That’s a daily reminder from God to live every day!! Trusting IN HIM!! Every day!

God bless!!
