At St. Jude’s, we are grateful for the thoughtful leadership and writing of our Rector, The Rev. Canon Dr. David Anderson.
In his ongoing series on disability theology, David reflects on what it means to build a Church where every person is welcomed, valued, and able to fully belong. His writing invites us to think deeply about accessibility, healing, dignity, and the ways God is revealed through community, compassion, and shared life together.
These articles remind us that inclusion is not simply an “extra” in the Church — it is part of living the Gospel faithfully.
We encourage our parish family to take some time to read and reflect on these inspiring pieces. Find them here:

Congratulations to our Garden Guild who was recognized by the Climate Justice Niagara committee of the Anglican Diocese of Niagara. Representative Sue Carson was on hand during our 10:30 service last Sunday to acknowledge the work of our amazing volunteers, and recognize the value of gardens; for the people who tend to them, those that enjoy them, and the wider environment at large.

The earth is the Lord's, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it; for he founded it on the seas and established it on the waters.
– Psalm 24

Music is an important part of worship at St. Jude's Anglican Church, and we are truly blessed by the talented artists who lead and enrich our services each week.

To celebrate Mother’s Day, Associate Organist Andrei Streliaev treated the congregation to a remarkable performance of Chopin’s Scherzo No. 2 in B-flat minor, Op. 31.

This simple recording, captured by a parishioner, may not have perfect sound quality, but it offers a glimpse into a very special moment shared in our church community.

Thank you, Andrei, for such a beautiful gift of music.

Andrei is active as a soloist, collaborative artist, and orchestral musician. He performs with Tafelmusik Chamber Choir, is a staff pianist for the National Ballet of Canada, and the associate organist at St. Jude’s Anglican Church in Oakville, Ontario.

Thanks to everyone who worked hard to make our Plant Sale a success!
This includes those who helped to prepare the plants, those who donated plants, those who worked at the sale and especially everyone who came by to shop!

Over 2500 plants were sold last Saturday and all of the proceeds support the costs associated with the upkeep for our beautiful gardens, managed by our volunteers.

If you are interested in joining our Garden Guild, please connect with our office to learn more. No experience is necessary.
