Surah Al-Baqarah Verse - 183

يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلَّذِينَ ءَامَنُواْ كُتِبَ عَلَيۡكُمُ ٱلصِّيَامُ كَمَا كُتِبَ عَلَى ٱلَّذِينَ مِن قَبۡلِكُمۡ لَعَلَّكُمۡ تَتَّقُونَ

Yaa ayyuhal lazeena aamanoo kutiba ‘alaikumus Siyaamu kamaa kutiba ‘alal lazeena min qablikum la’allakum tattaqoon

Sahih International:
O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous –

⁨ Takbeer That Brings Peace to the Heart 🕋

Arabic

اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ، لَا إِلٰهَ إِلَّا اللّهُ،
اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ، اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ، وَلِلّٰهِ الْحَمْدُ.
اللّهُ أَكْبَرُ كَبِيرًا، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ كَثِيرًا، وَسُبْحَانَ اللّهِ بُكْرَةً وَأَصِيلًا.
وَصَلَّى اللّهُ عَلَى نَبِيِّنَا مُحَمَّدٍ،
وَعَلَى آلِهِ وَصَحْبِهِ وَسَلَّمَ تَسْلِيمًا كَثِيرًا.

Transliteration

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, La ilaha illa Allah,
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, wa lillahil hamd.
Allahu Akbar kabira, walhamdu lillahi kathira, wa subhanallahi bukratan wa asila.
Wa sallallahu ‘ala nabiyyina Muhammad,
wa ‘ala alihi wa sahbihi wa sallama tasliman kathira.

English Translation

Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, there is no god except Allah.
Allah is the Greatest, Allah is the Greatest, and all praise belongs to Allah.
Allah is the Greatest in greatness, and abundant praise is for Allah, and glory be to Allah morning and evening.
And may Allah send blessings upon our Prophet Muhammad,
and upon his family and companions, and grant them abundant peace.

Urdu Translation

اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ کے سوا کوئی معبود نہیں۔
اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اللہ سب سے بڑا ہے، اور تمام تعریفیں اللہ ہی کے لیے ہیں۔
اللہ بہت بڑائی والا ہے، اور اللہ کے لیے بہت زیادہ حمد ہے، اور اللہ پاک ہے صبح و شام۔
اور اللہ ہمارے نبی محمد ﷺ پر رحمتیں نازل فرمائے،
اور آپ #ﷺ کی آل اور صحابہؓ پر، اور انہیں کثرت سے سلامتی عطا فرمائے۔

Some of the Greatest Dua for Yawm al-Arafah 🌙

The Prophet ﷺ said that the best supplication on the Day of Arafah is:

“Lā ilāha illallāhu waḥdahu lā sharīka lah, lahul-mulku wa lahul-ḥamd, wa huwa ‘alā kulli shay’in qadīr.”

“There is no deity worthy of worship except Allah alone, with no partner. His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He has power over all things.”

A simple dhikr filled with immense rewards, mercy, and closeness to Allah سبحانه وتعالى.
Recite it often on the blessed Day of Arafah and throughout the first 10 days of Dhul Hijjah. 🤍

May Allah accept our duas, forgive our sins, and grant us Jannah. Ameen.
