Arabic Language Courses
The Muslim Association of Milton is pleased to offer the next semester of our Arabic Language Program, using the Durūs al-Lughah al-ʿArabiyyah (Madinah Arabic Series).
This semester will offer Arabic 102 and Arabic 201, providing students with a structured path to continue developing their Arabic language skills.
Both courses are four-month programs, beginning Friday, September 25th, in shā’ Allāh.

📘 Arabic 102
Continuation of Volume 1
Arabic 102 is a continuation of Arabic 101 and will complete the study of Volume 1 of the Madinah Arabic Series.
Textbook: Durūs al-Lughah al-ʿArabiyyah – Volume 1
Lessons: Lesson 12 through the end of Volume 1
Time: Fridays, 6:00 PM – 7:30 PM
Students will build upon the foundations learned in Arabic 101 and study more advanced vocabulary, grammar, sentence structures, and reading comprehension.
Topics will include:
Verb conjugation and the 14 forms
Detached and attached pronouns
Singular, dual, and plural forms
Sound and broken plurals
Non-intelligent plurals
Numbers and counted nouns (العدد والمعدود)
Ghayr Munṣarif (غير المنصرف)
Muḍāf and Muḍāf Ilayh
Mawṣūf and Ṣifah
Iʿrāb and grammatical analysis
Reading comprehension and translation
Additional vocabulary and sentence structures
New Students Welcome
Although Arabic 102 is a continuation of Arabic 101, new students are welcome to register.
Students who did not complete Arabic 101 may receive access to the recorded lessons from the previous semester (Lessons 1–11) to help them catch up. Students may also join the current class and work toward catching up as the course progresses.

📗 Arabic 201
Beginning of Volume 2
Arabic 201 begins Volume 2 of the Madinah Arabic Series and is intended for students who have completed Volume 1 or have an equivalent foundation in Arabic.
Textbook: Durūs al-Lughah al-ʿArabiyyah – Volume 2
Lessons: Beginning from Lesson 1 of Volume 2
Time: Fridays, 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Students will build upon the foundation established in Volume 1 and progress to more advanced Arabic language structures, vocabulary, grammar, reading, and comprehension.

📚 What the Courses Include
Four-Month Program
Both Arabic 102 and Arabic 201 are full-length, four-month courses, designed to provide consistent and structured progression through the curriculum.
📝 Homework
Students will receive regular homework and assignments to reinforce the material taught in class and encourage continued practice outside of class.
📊 Progress & Assessments
Student progress will be monitored throughout the course through assignments, class participation, and assessments.
📝 Exams
There will be examinations throughout the course, including a final examination. Exams will assess students' understanding and application of the material, including vocabulary, grammar, reading comprehension, translation, and grammatical analysis.
🎥 Recorded Classes
Every class will be recorded. Students will have access to recordings for review and for catching up on material they may have missed.
💻 Live Online Classes
Students may participate through live Zoom sessions, allowing them to attend class remotely while still participating in the lesson.
🕌 In-Person Classes
Students are encouraged to attend in person whenever possible for direct interaction and participation.

The program is open to both brothers and sisters.

The courses are designed specifically with adult learners in mind, whether continuing their Arabic studies or building upon an existing foundation.
