Happy National Doughnut Day! 🍩

Today, we celebrate more than a sweet treat—we honour the legacy of The Salvation Army's "Doughnut Lassies," who brought comfort, hope, and freshly made doughnuts to soldiers serving on the front lines during the First World War.

More than a century later, the doughnut remains a symbol of compassion, community, and our ongoing commitment to supporting individuals and families in need across Canada and Bermuda.

As we recognize this special day, let's also take a moment to thank the everyday heroes in our communities whose kindness and dedication make a difference every day.

We’re really glad to share that we’re now settled into our temporary space and ready to welcome clients again at The Salvation Army Oakville.

Send us an email at [email protected] to book a food bank appointment. We will provide all the details regarding our temporary location for the Food Bank and everything related to our services.

We’ll be gathering for worship at: White Oaks S.S. – South Cafeteria, 1330 Montclair Drive-Oakville

As we step into this new space, we do so with the same heart for worship and fellowship. The church isn’t the building—it’s the people—and that doesn’t change. ❤️
