St Charles Lwanga was martyred in 1886 for resisting the sexual demands of a perverted King, and protecting his friends from the same.
He helped his executioners prepare the pyre he was burnt to death on, and laid down on it rather than being tied. He never got up or screamed as he burned to death.
He was considered one of Uganda’s greatest athletes and handsomest men.
He was a catechist to youth,
and never bowed to government sanctioned perversion/godlessness/demands.
We could use a dose of his holiness, courage, and manliness today!
