In partnership with local churches, we endeavour alongside students to be grounded in scripture and be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. ADVANCE the gospel in campuses across Eastern Canada, with effort focusing towards new immigrant youth and international students. FURNISH and equip Christian students to become missional and kingdom-oriented disciples, and foster missionary values among those

who plan to return to their homelands. CATALYZE Christians, churches, and like-minded organizations to partner together to propagate the student Christian movement.

Join us in praying for the AFC Post-Secondary Ministry.

Pray:
🙏 For incoming first-year students who are new to campus and fellowship, especially those who are new to faith, that they would be a part of a flourishing community where they can encounter and discover who Jesus is.

🙏 For Christian students to be faithful witnesses on their campuses while remaining connected to their home churches through ongoing discipleship, fellowship, and spiritual growth, especially for those who may be studying out of town.

🙏 That our post-secondary ministry team would be well grounded in Christ, faithfully modeling the blessed life we invite our students into.

Join us in praying for the AFC High School Ministry.

Pray for the Students:
✝️ To grow in their faith and confidence as they lead their school fellowships.

🏫 That school fellowships can become a place of community within their schools where students can feel supported and encouraged in their faith.

Pray for the Staff:
🤝 To strengthen our relationships with churches, pastors, schools, and parents so we can support students.

👥 For God to provide the right people, volunteers, and resources to grow and sustain the ministry.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." (Proverbs 27:17)

The work of reaching the next generation was never meant to be done alone. 🤝

Recently, student ministry leaders from across Canada gathered to pray, learn, and dream together about what God is doing. It was a meaningful time for our Director of Field Ministries, Letty Wong, and Executive Director, Darren Lung, to connect with fellow leaders who share a passion for seeing students encounter Jesus and live out a .

While our ministries serve in different contexts, we are united by one mission: joining God in His work to renew and restore all things 🌏. Together, we are building bridges, strengthening partnerships, and seeking the flourishing of students, campuses, churches, and communities across 🇨🇦!

Our Japan mission team is getting ready to step out in : ready to listen, pray, and learn from our Japanese brothers and sisters. In partnership with OMF Canada and OMF Japan, our team will embark on a two-week prayer journey designed to help them learn from the global church and see how the Holy Spirit is moving in Tokyo. At the most recent Toronto Chinese Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship (TCEMF), our Director of Strategic Engagement, Melissa Leung had the opportunity to share AFC in Canada's passion and plan to partner with churches and like-minded organizations to better engage post-secondary students. TCEMF is a monthly gathering of pastors and ministry leaders from across the GTA.

We're so thankful for the spirit of collaboration and togetherness amongst the Chinese church community! These relationships of appreciation and mutuality are truly a testament to God's goodness.

Together, we pray that courageous communities shaped by Jesus' love would be cultivated across Canada, for the flourishing of all.
