AFC in Canada Ambassadors For Christ (AFC) exists to continue God's work in the worldwide evangelical student movement. What is Ambassadors For Christ in Canada (AFC)?

In partnership with local churches, we endeavour alongside students to be grounded in scripture and be faithful followers of Jesus Christ. ADVANCE the gospel in campuses across Eastern Canada, with effort focusing towards new immigrant youth and international students. FURNISH and equip Christian students to become missional and kingdom-oriented disciples, and foster missionary values among those

who plan to return to their homelands. CATALYZE Christians, churches, and like-minded organizations to partner together to propagate the student Christian movement.

At the most recent Toronto Chinese Evangelical Ministerial Fellowship (TCEMF), our Director of Strategic Engagement, Melissa Leung had the opportunity to share AFC in Canada's passion and plan to partner with churches and like-minded organizations to better engage post-secondary students. TCEMF is a monthly gathering of pastors and ministry leaders from across the GTA.

We're so thankful for the spirit of collaboration and togetherness amongst the Chinese church community! These relationships of appreciation and mutuality are truly a testament to God's goodness.

Together, we pray that courageous communities shaped by Jesus' love would be cultivated across Canada, for the flourishing of all.

You were made for mutually self-giving, other-directed love." — Tim Keller 🙏

As our Vancouver Mission Team returns home, we do so with grateful hearts and a renewed vision of what it means to follow Jesus with our head, hands, hearts, and whole lives.

Over the past two weeks, our team has learned that caring for God's creation is part of our response to the Creator who loves and sustains all things. Through our partnership with A Rocha Canada, they've experienced firsthand how creation care, community, and mission are interwoven in God's kingdom. Loving our neighbours, serving our communities, and stewarding creation are acts of worship that require .

🙌 We are so proud of these incredible student leaders!

Every one of them has chosen to : leaning into faith, serving others, and following Jesus even when it's not easy. They know that courageous faith isn't just something you believe; it's something you live.

At , these leaders gathered from across our fellowships to be encouraged, challenged, and equipped to lead like Jesus. Together, they laughed, worshipped, learned, and dreamed about what God can do through students who are fully surrendered to Him.

The future of the Church isn't someday—it's already here. And these students are helping lead the way. Join us in praying that God would continue to grow their faith, deepen their character, and use them to impact their schools and communities for Christ.

What does it look like to cultivate courageous communities for the flourishing of all? 🌎

Our 🇨🇦 Vancouver mission team is discovering that following Jesus transforms not only our hearts, but the world around us. As they serve alongside A Rocha Canada, they're learning that caring for God's creation is an important part of participating in God's mission to "reconcile all things to himself." (Colossians 1:20)

With every garden tended 🥬 and every act of stewardship offered 🫴, their vision of the Kingdom is expanding. Jesus' words, "I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener" (John 15), are taking on new meaning as they experience firsthand what it means to cultivate flourishing alongside our Father.

This is the kind of we long to see in this generation: Jesus-centred, attentive to God's world, and committed to the flourishing of all.

Why courage?

Because courage humbles us.

It moves us to step beyond ourselves, to help those in need even when it's not the popular thing to do. It calls us to listen, serve, and love with humility, choosing faithfulness over comfort.

Courage isn't about being fearless. It's about saying "yes" to God's call to serve, even when it's difficult, unpopular, or unseen.
