Today, the sun rose with a gentler grace,
Because it knew, this day, your name lights up the place.
Sis Ijay, more than sister, more than a friend,
You’re more than a mother, you mend, and you tend.

To those who know you, you are heaven’s balm,
A nurse in white not just in cloth, but in calm.
You heal with hands, with heart, with soul,
A woman whose purpose is lovingly whole.

The beautiful wife of gentleman Newman,
Or, as we say, Oga Newman, the rarest of humans.
Together, you stand, a duo refined,
In you both, love and strength are divinely aligned.

You love your God with unshakable might,
You walk in His truth. You stand for the right.
In storms, you’re a shelter; in darkness, a guide,
With kindness and wisdom, forever your stride.

Your heart beats not just for you, but for all,
For siblings, for strangers, you answer the call.
