St. Clement's Church

St. Clement's Church We are a welcoming community nurtured by the Anglican love of scripture, reason & tradition. We like to think, wonder, learn and love! St.

Clement's is a community of friendly Christians who love to welcome newcomers in all their diversity. Our worship is based on the beautiful liturgies of the Anglican tradition; services include a variety of musical styles and sermons that bring the Sunday scripture readings into conversation with today's issues and timeless human experiences. We are active in community outreach and do our best to

lend a hand where it's needed. If you would like to touch base with us and learn more about St. Clement's, please email [email protected].

Today is World Ocean Day — a reminder that the waters surrounding and sustaining Turtle Island are sacred and vital to all life.

The ocean connects us. It teaches us about balance, resilience, and the power of collective action. Protecting it is part of our shared responsibility to future generations.

Let’s honour the water. Let’s protect what nourishes us. Let’s work together for a future rooted in respect, care, and connection.

The Second Sunday after Pentecost

06/05/2026

Today is — a time to reflect on our sacred responsibility to protect and care for the land, waters, and all living beings on Turtle Island.

The health of our environment is deeply connected to the well-being of our communities. When we honour the Earth, we honour the generations to come.

Let’s walk gently, act with respect, and stand together to protect what sustains us — not just today, but every day.

Here is a great list of new Indigenous reads for the summer!
What are you reading?

June is Indigenous History Month! We’re fortunate at Talonbooks to have the opportunity to publish a growing roster of Indigenous authors, playwrights, poets, visual artists, activists, humorists, and more. If you want to mark the occasion with a book to immerse yourself in a myriad of Indigenous perspectives, we’ve put together a reading list of some truly excellent titles that range from personal to public, funny to unsettling, and deep to the whimsical.

Learn more about all of these titles here: https://talonbooks.com/news/indigenous-history-month-2026
