Camp Artaban

Camp Artaban is an Anglican camp on scenic Gambier Island. Artaban is run by a Board of Directors who are volunteers + Members of the Society.

For 103 years it has provided children, youth, and adults with opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. The Camp Artaban Society Office is located in the basement of St. Catherine's Anglican Church, 1058 Ridgewood Drive, North Vancouver, BC V7R 1H8.

Family Camp 2 Recap! 📸 To kick off our August camps, we had a fabulous week with our second group of family campers. It truly was a week of faith, fun, fellowship, and new friendships for all ☀️😄

Did you see our new cabin roofs this summer? 🙌 👀
Thanks to a very generous donor, we were able to begin the multi-year roofing project of replacing the cabin roofs! Across the spring and summer, volunteers worked to rebuild and replace cabin roofs on 4 cabins, with more to come in the fall and next year.
Many thanks as well to the fantastic team at Roofmart (Burnaby, BC) for their support in this project. 👏

This summer one of our permanent staff members proposed creating a new mural on the side of the Veg Hut, and we are so thrilled to unveil the final product! 🎉🎨🖌️
Isabelle, the artist, was inspired to represent the animals we share space with at Artaban, and recognize that the place is a home to all kinds. ❤️
