Twitter: http://twitter.com/lvuc_northvan Welcome World! We welcome everyone, wherever they may be on the journey.

When we believe in the goodness of all creation, and when we take seriously the church's ancient teaching about the incarnation - God is revealed in creation - then surely Spirit is working within the culture just as surely as Spirit is working within the church. At Lynn Valley Church, we look for goodness and wisdom in the world around us, seeing and celebrating the power of God's Spirit that bre

athes new life into troubled times. We join with people of all ages who want to rest their spirituality in a place that invites as many questions as it offers answers, living with respect in creation. And we seek partners with shared values who wish to remove from the world those things which are inconsistent with the goodness of all that has been created.

There's still time to buy your tickets for The Waters That Hold us! Through a blend of serene, uplifting, and heartfelt selections, the music explores themes of peace, belonging, and hope. Moments of gentle reflection sit with music that encourages us to reach outward—to listen, to welcome, and to stand together. Works including Ubi Caritas and Draw the Circle Wide anchor the program, while other pieces offer fresh perspectives on what it means to care for one another and create spaces of safety and understanding.

Together, these songs create a shared experience—at times intimate, at times powerful—reminding us that even in uncertain moments, we are not alone. May this music be a place of rest, a source of renewal, and a celebration of the ties that hold us together.

Join us for service this Sunday, June 7 at 10:30am. As we enter the busy month of June, we begin a new sermon series called Stories of the Heart. We will be reflecting on how the stories we tell ourselves and the stories other people tell us about ourselves shape who we are and what we do. June is also National Indigenous History Month in Canada, and we're excited to start this series with a special guest speaker, Faye Halls, who will be discussing tales of the Coast Salish peoples, looking back and looking forwards in Reclaiming Roots.

Join us at LVUC for Trinity Sunday service this Sunday, May 31 at 10:30am. This Sunday, we will look at The Trinity not an abstract doctrine to figure out, but as a reality to be experienced. Imagine a picture of a dynamic God in a dynamic community of persons in perfect harmony. We are invited into that relationship, shaped by the Creator, redeemed by the Son, and enlivened by the Holy Spirit. Our Scriptures for this week will be Matthew 28:16–20 and 2 Corinthians 13:11–13.

Join us at LVUC on May 17 at 10:30am for "Cup of Freedom: Freedom to Open"! As we conclude our Cup of Freedom series, we are given the opportunity to ponder how open our hearts are to the message of Jesus. Jesus prepares the disciples to be witnesses, to be able to continue to preach the Gospel message, and to be his Body alive in the world. We have the freedom to open our hearts and minds to receive what God will give - and that gift is the Holy Spirit Advocate.

Join us at LVUC this Sunday, May 3 at 10:30am, where we will be reminded of God’s promise of a new covenant of the freedom love brings. As we are transformed by the gift of the spirit, we realize that for God, there is no distinction of gender, age, race, or background. We are all given the freedom to follow Christ’s new commandment, to love one another. Let us come together as a community of love.
