Our history took a remarkable turn in 1995 with the launch of Operation Warmthโ€”a heartwarming initiative aimed at providing free winter coats and essential items. Annually, we distributed over 2000 coats, along with sweaters, blankets, clothing, hats, mitts, gloves, and boots. Our commitment to aiding those in need has only grown stronger. Now, during the winter months, we provide a limited quantity of winter clothing to those in need. Please call us to inquire about our inventory. A Stronger Community Together

In the post-pandemic era, Operation Warmth has joined hands with Rebuild Resources, utilizing their expertise and facilities. Nonetheless, we gratefully accept clean, quality winter clothing, from Spring until November. We personally distribute them from our pastoral office as needed. Message for Trinity Sunday

โ€œAnd surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.โ€ (Matthew 28:20)

On Trinity Sunday, the Gospel shows us that God is not far away and not alone. God is a living unity of love: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

In Matthew 28, we see the disciples after Jesus rises from the dead. They are not perfect. They worship Him, but some still have doubts. This is important. Faith is not always full certainty. People can believe and still have questions. And Jesus does not leave them.

Jesus says that all authority in heaven and on earth is given to Him. Then He sends His disciples to all nations. They are not only to create a religion, teach information or merely doctrine. They are to help people live a new life of love, forgiveness, and hope.

Baptism in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit brings people into the life of Godโ€™s love. One God, but not lonely. God is fellowship.

So Christian life is not lived alone. God is fellowship, and believers also live in fellowship. When Christians gather, listen to Godโ€™s Word, pray, and support each other, faith grows stronger.

The main promise stays the same: Christ is with us every day. Even in doubt. Even in weakness. Even in difficult times.

In this extended season of Pentecost and/or Trinity that now begins, we are once again reminded of the original anointing of the Church at Pentecost, and of how this gift of the Spirit continues to be renewed again and again in those who believe.
God does not abandon the human being and, in Christ through the Holy Spirit, draws near personally to those who open themselves to Him. God fulfills His promise to be with us and to draw near to us in Christ through the Holy Spirit.

Message for the Day of Pentecost

Pentecost is not only a historical memory but the beginning of a new reality: God is present with His people through the Holy Spirit. In Acts 2, the disciples were united in prayer when the Spirit filled them and they began speaking in other tongues. This shows that God forms a community before individual experiences. Wind and fire symbolize His living presence. The Holy Spirit is not an emotion or idea, but God dwelling within us. Jesus promised Him as Helper and guide. Humanity was created for fellowship with God; without Him we become empty and divided. The Spirit restores life, bringing love, peace, and unity, healing separation with understanding.

Pentecost is an ongoing invitation to open our hearts and be filled with God, transformed into new life.

โ€œAnd they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.โ€ Acts 2:4

Sunday message May 17, 2026

Before Pentecost, Jesus prepared His disciples not first with strategies or power, but with prayer: โ€œHoly Father, keep them in your nameโ€ (John 17:11). In a world that seeks security through money, health systems, retirement plans, and human control, Christ reminds us that true peace cannot come from anything temporary. These things may help us, but they cannot carry the deepest weight of our lives. Jesus offers something greater: the faithful protection and presence of God Himself. Still today, the disciples of Jesus are specially guarded, sustained, and preserved by the Father through every storm, suffering, uncertainty, and even persecution. We are not kept because life becomes easy or predictable, but because Christ continues to intercede for His people. Our lives are ultimately not held by our own strength, planning, or success, but by the prayer of Jesus and the faithfulness of the Father. When human security reaches its limit, the Gospel begins to hold us.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS

Jesus says in the Sermon on the Mount: โ€œAsk, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and the door will be opened to youโ€ (Matthew 7:7). With these words, Jesus invites us to trust God. Prayer is not only something we do in emergencies, but part of our daily life with God.

In the Old Testament, we see an example with Samuel. When the people of Israel were in trouble, Samuel gathered them to pray to the Lord (1 Samuel 7:5). God heard their prayer and helped them. This shows us that prayer is also something we do together as a community.

In the New Testament, Jesus teaches us to pray โ€œin his nameโ€ (John 16:23). This does not mean using a formula. It means praying with Jesus, trusting him, and trying to follow his will.

To pray in the name of Jesus means to pray with faith, trust, and a sincere heart that wants to be close to God.

Sometimes it is hard to pray, or we feel far from God. The Bible helps us understand that sin and broken relationships can affect our connection with God (Isaiah 59:1โ€“2). But the main message is not punishment. The main message is that God always wants to forgive us and restore our relationship with him.

When we return to God with honesty and faith, we discover that prayer is not a burden. It is a gift. In prayer, God strengthens us, listens to us, and walks with us.

Martin Luther once said: โ€œChristians who pray are like pillars that hold up the world.โ€ This means that prayer is very important, even when we cannot see its results. Every person who prays takes part in the life of the church and in Godโ€™s work in the world.

Happy Motherโ€™s Day!
Today is a beautiful opportunity to attend church and thank God for the blessing of motherhood and for the mothers who cared for us with love, sacrifice, and dedication.

In John 14, Jesus reminds us that true love is more than emotion; it is shown through faith, obedience, and trust in His presence. Human love can reflect tenderness, protection, and compassion, but the love of Christ is perfect, eternal, and unfailing. Even in moments of loneliness, fear, or weakness, Jesus gives us this comforting promise:
โ€œI will not leave you as orphans; I will come to youโ€ (John 14:18).

On this special day, let us honour mothers, give thanks for their care, and remember that every genuine act of love ultimately points us to the greater and everlasting love of Christ.

Several years ago, I decided to become a real church member. Let me explain. For over 30 years, I was the preacher each Sunday at whatever church I attended. I preached as the pastor, the interim pastor, or guest preacher. I never viewed the church on Sunday mornings from the pews or the chairs. I wr...

Sundayโ€™s message:

โ€œDo not let your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in me.โ€ (John 14:1)

Jesus does not merely comfort the troubled heart, but reveals that peace is not the absence of problems, but living communion with Him, who is the way, the truth, and the life in the midst of human uncertainty.

In a world that is constantly changing, where are you placing your trust? Jesus does not promise control over every circumstance, but His faithful presence in every step of the journey.
Perhaps the real question is not what to solve, but whom to follow today.
