The 2025 Lay Readers’ Conference will be held at Christ Church, North Bay, September 26–27. This annual gathering is a chance for spiritual renewal, learning, and connection with fellow Lay Readers from across Algoma.

Join Archbishop Anne Germond for a special Reception & Fireside Chat with The Rt. Rev. Rod BrantFrancis, Bishop of Moosonee, and Rev. Jason Tripp, President of Thorneloe University. Together, they’ll reflect on their faith journeys and ministries, drawing connections between Algoma and Moosonee. All are welcome—come and be part of this diocesan celebration!

The end of an era for our church (St. Brice’s) as Dr. Rev. Peter Armstrong has retired and is moving back to Nova Scotia (today)
We have been richly blessed to of shared 10 years with Peter and Nancy and wish them all the best in their retirement. You both will be greatly missed.
