Sometimes we feel as parents we don't know where to begin.......

We have now completed First Communion. In April we also completed the RCIC and Confirmation. For parents with children 6 and under we remind you to come forward for baptism soon. For children who are baptized and going in to grade 2 we look forward to hearing from you for First Reconciliation and First Commuinion next year---keep your eyes and ears open to school announcements and bulletins. Confirmation is grade 8---if you know your child/grandchild is not in our Catholic schools please listen to announcements and watch the bulletins for information.

On May 2nd we had the pleasure of celebrating Fr Alan's 50th anniversary of ordination. CFPN is so lucky that we still have Fr Alan celebrating masses occassionally with us. May God continue to keep in good health and steady faith. Amen.

The week of May 3rd is Catholic Education week. We are so very privilidged to be able to attend a Catholic school to learn even more where our faith is lived out in our world. May our schools, teachers and family know that God is walking that path with them as a friend. May each of us seek to be pilgrims of hope in a world that wishes us to stumble. God bless you and keep you in His loving care. Amen.
