Today, on the Feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross, we contemplate the great mystery of our Redemption: through Christ’s sacrifice, the Cross became the sign of our salvation and His victory.

On the Cross, Jesus gave His life to reconcile us with God and open the way to Heaven. United to His, our own crosses can become a path of fidelity, love, and hope.

🙏 Lord Jesus, teach us to love Your Cross and remain faithful until we experience in Heaven the fullness of Your Redemption.

En cette fête de la Croix Glorieuse, contemplons le grand mystère de notre Rédemption : par le sacrifice du Christ, la Croix est devenue le signe de notre salut et de sa victoire.

Sur la Croix, Jésus a donné sa vie pour nous réconcilier avec Dieu et nous ouvrir le chemin du Ciel. Unies à la sienne, nos propres croix peuvent devenir un chemin de fidélité, d’amour et d’espérance.

🙏 Seigneur Jésus, apprenez-nous à aimer votre Croix et à demeurer fidèles jusqu’au jour où nous goûterons au Ciel les bienfaits de votre Rédemption.

Participants in the online course on Consecration to Jesus through Mary according to St. Louis de Montfort gathered at St. Fidelis Parish in North York, Ontario, for a special Mass marking their consecration.

Celebrated by Fr. Ryan Murphy, EP the Mass brought together participants who had followed the course in preparation for this important step in their spiritual lives.

Through this consecration, they entrusted themselves more completely to Jesus through the Blessed Virgin Mary, following the spirituality taught by St. Louis de Montfort.

🙏 May Our Lady accompany them in their consecration and lead them each day closer to her Divine Son.

Les participants au cours en ligne de consécration à Jésus par Marie selon saint Louis-Marie de Montfort se sont réunis à la paroisse St. Fidelis, à North York, en Ontario, pour une messe marquant leur consécration.

Célébrée par le P. Ryan Murphy, EP la messe a rassemblé les participants qui avaient suivi ce parcours de préparation en vue de cette étape importante de leur vie spirituelle.

Par cette consécration, ils se sont confiés plus entièrement à Jésus par la Sainte Vierge Marie, selon la spiritualité enseignée par saint Louis-Marie de Montfort.

🙏 Que la Sainte Vierge les accompagne dans leur consécration et les conduise chaque jour plus près de son divin Fils.

The Heralds of the Gospel held a Day of Recollection at St. Luke’s Parish in Dollard-des-Ormeaux, Quebec.

Led by Fr. Steven Schmieder, the day brought participants together for prayer, spiritual formation, and moments of recollection. It offered an opportunity to step away from the demands of daily life, deepen their faith, and renew their relationship with God.

The gathering was also marked by moments of Catholic fellowship among the participants.

🙏 May the Blessed Virgin Mary accompany all those who took part and help the graces received during this Day of Recollection bear lasting fruit.

Les Hérauts de l’Évangile ont organisé une journée de récollection à la paroisse Saint-Luc de Dollard-des-Ormeaux, au Québec.

Dirigée par le P. Steven Schmieder, EP, cette journée a réuni les participants autour de temps de prière, de recueillement et de formation spirituelle. Elle leur a permis de prendre du recul par rapport au rythme du quotidien, d’approfondir leur foi et de renouveler leur vie spirituelle.

La rencontre a également été marquée par de beaux moments de fraternité entre les participants.

🙏 Que la Sainte Vierge accompagne chacun d’eux et fasse fructifier les grâces reçues au cours de cette journée de récollection.

The Holy Name of Mary

On September 12, the Church celebrates the Holy Name of Mary. For centuries, Christians have invoked her name with confidence, especially in times of difficulty and spiritual combat.

Her name reminds us that God has given us a Mother who accompanies us and leads us to Christ.

🙏 Blessed Virgin Mary, protect us in every trial and lead us always to your Divine Son.

The Nativity of Mary — Longing for the Reign of Christ

The birth of the Blessed Virgin Mary already announces the dawn of salvation. She who would give the Saviour to the world came into this life with a unique mission in God’s plan.

On her feast, let us ask Mary to awaken within us a deep, ardent, and steadfast desire for the reign of Christ — in our souls, our families, and throughout society.

🙏 Blessed Virgin Mary, increase within us the desire for the reign of your Divine Son and teach us to work faithfully for its coming.

La Nativité de Marie — Désirer le règne du Christ

La naissance de la Sainte Vierge annonce déjà l’aurore du salut. Celle qui devait donner au monde le Sauveur venait sur cette terre avec une mission unique dans le plan de Dieu.

En cette fête, demandons à Marie de faire naître en nous un désir ardent, profond et éclairé du règne du Christ — dans nos âmes, dans nos familles et dans la société.

Pope Leo XIV at the feet of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On the eve of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Pope Leo XIV visited the Shrine of Our Lady of Good Counsel in Genazzano, near Rome, where he celebrated Holy Mass.

The Holy Father, who has cherished this Marian devotion since his youth, presented a Golden Rose to Our Lady and unveiled a fresco depicting him in prayer before her venerated image.

During his homily, Pope Leo asked Mary for her “Good Counsel,” so that we may welcome God’s Word and put it into practice through courageous and wise decisions.

🙏 Let us pray together for the Holy Father, asking the Blessed Virgin Mary to protect him, guide him, and sustain him in his mission.

Le pape Léon XIV aux pieds de la Vierge Marie

En cette veille de la Nativité de la Très Sainte Vierge Marie, le pape Léon XIV s’est rendu au sanctuaire de Notre-Dame du Bon Conseil, à Genazzano, près de Rome, pour y célébrer la Sainte Messe.

Profondément attaché à cette dévotion mariale depuis sa jeunesse, le Saint-Père a offert à la Vierge une Rose d’Or et inauguré une fresque le représentant en prière devant son image vénérée.

Welcoming Our Lady into Our Homes

This Labour Day weekend, nearly 250 members and families of the Apostolate of the Shrine from across the Toronto area gathered for a beautiful day of faith, including Holy Mass, a Rosary procession, and a shared meal.

Through this apostolate, groups of thirty families welcome a shrine of the Immaculate Heart of Mary into their homes, one family at a time each month. Family, friends, and neighbours are invited to read the Gospel, pray the Rosary, and consecrate their families to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.

It is a simple but powerful mission: to welcome Our Lady into our homes so that she may bring us closer to her Son, Jesus Christ.

🙏 Immaculate Heart of Mary, protect our families and lead them always to Jesus.

Accueillir la Sainte Vierge dans nos foyers

En cette fin de semaine de la fête du Travail, près de 250 membres et familles de l’Apostolat de l’Oratoire de toute la région de Toronto se sont réunis pour une belle journée de foi, avec la Sainte Messe, une procession du Rosaire et un repas fraternel.

Dans cet apostolat, des groupes de trente familles accueillent chaque mois, à tour de rôle, un oratoire du Cœur Immaculé de Marie. Familles, amis et voisins sont invités à lire l’Évangile, réciter le Rosaire et consacrer leur foyer au Cœur Immaculé de Marie.

Une mission simple mais puissante : accueillir la Sainte Vierge dans nos foyers afin qu’elle nous conduise toujours plus près de son Fils, Jésus-Christ.

With Mary, let us keep moving towards God.

God gives us the grace to remain faithful, and He has given us the Blessed Virgin Mary to accompany us on our journey.

True devotion to Mary always leads us to Jesus. Through her intercession, may we persevere in faith and draw ever closer to her Divine Son.

🙏 Blessed Virgin Mary, strengthen us and lead us always to Jesus.

Dieu nous donne la grâce de demeurer fidèles, et Il nous a donné la Sainte Vierge pour nous accompagner sur notre chemin.

En ce 23e dimanche du Temps ordinaire, nous méditons l’Évangile de saint Matthieu, dans lequel Notre-Seigneur nous enseigne comment agir lorsqu’un frère nous offense ou commet une faute.

Jésus nous dit :

« S’il t’écoute, tu as gagné ton frère. »

Face aux disputes, aux conflits, aux blessures et au manque de pardon, Notre-Seigneur ne nous invite ni à la colère, ni à l’humiliation publique, ni à la vengeance. Il nous enseigne le chemin de la correction fraternelle, toujours guidée par la charité.

Corriger quelqu’un ne signifie pas chercher à avoir raison ou à blesser l’autre. Cela signifie vouloir sincèrement son bien, par amour de Dieu et pour le salut des âmes.

In this Catholic Gospel reflection for the 23rd Sunday in Ordinary Time, we meditate on Our Lord’s teaching about fraternal correction, forgiveness, prayer, and charity in Matthew 18:15-20.

Jesus says:

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have won over your brother.”

When someone hurts us, offends us, or causes conflict, Our Lord does not teach us to respond with anger, humiliation, revenge, or public accusation. He teaches us to act with charity, truth, patience, and a sincere desire for the good of the other person.

Fraternal correction is not about proving that we are right. It is about helping a brother or sister return to the good, for love of God and the salvation of souls.
