Canada Day is coming to Central! 🇨🇦

Join us on Sunday, June 28, after each experience for some food, fun, and community. We’re celebrating together with a BBQ, inflatables, face painting, lawn games, and plenty of summer fun for the whole family.

This is the perfect Sunday to invite friends, bring your family, and stay awhile. Wear your RED & WHITE and come celebrate the country we call home with your church family.

Last week we learned to recognize, reframe, and redeem the pit. This week we go deeper into what the purpose is in the pain?

Genesis 50:20 answers it in three movements:

1 · PAIN HAS A PURPOSE. "You intended to harm me…" The hurt was real. Joseph never pretends it wasn't.
2 · GOD HAS A PLAN. "…but God intended it…" The brothers had a plan. God had a bigger one.
3 · SALVATION IS THE GOAL. "…the saving of many lives." It was never just about Joseph getting promoted; it was about people getting saved.

God is not wasting your pain. He is using it to save, shape, and prepare you.

Father, help me see how this is for the good.

One verse holds the whole week:

"You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good, to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives." ~ Genesis 50:20

Three movements in a single sentence. The harm was real. God's intent was bigger. And the goal was never comfort; it was salvation.

Father, help me see how this is for the good.

Thank you for being part of today’s experience.

There is nothing quite like gathering together as a family, and we are so glad you were here.

Every time we show up, something happens, and today was no different. We love doing life with you.

See you next week!

Romans 8:28 might be the most quoted and most misquoted verse in the Bible.

It does not say "everything happens for a reason."
It does not say "everything is good."
Cancer isn't good. Abuse isn't good. Loss isn't good.

Here's what it actually says: God works all things for the good. Not that the pain is good, but that your good Father is at work inside it, redeeming what was never meant to be.

"For the good" isn't the denial of pain. It's the belief that His goodness is greater than it.

Father, help me see how this is for the good.

This week, we celebrated stories of life change through baptism.

Each person who stepped into the water made a public declaration of faith and took a powerful next step in their journey with Jesus.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

We’re so thankful to celebrate alongside our church community.
