We are excited to introduce Bal Vidya under our Bal Vihar program by the Niagara Hindu Samaj, in association with the Niagara Culture Centre.
A beautiful initiative designed to help children connect with our roots, values, and culture in a fun and engaging way 🙏

✨ Curriculum Highlights:
• Value-based stories from Sanatan Dharma
• Chanting of Sanskrit shlokas
• Singing bhajans & patriotic songs
• Fun, interactive spiritual learning activities

📅 When: Every Sunday
⏰ Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

💡 Guided by dedicated volunteers, this program creates a nurturing environment for children to grow spiritually and culturally.

NHS board members have now reached out to close-connected community members in Grimsby and to many devotees who have been part of NHS for years. This ongoing outreach is part of our collective mission to raise funds for our new temple—a vision we are all building together.

With a vision to expand into a new temple and create a stronger spiritual home for our community, we are humbled to walk the path once taken 25 years ago by pioneers like late Dr. Rege along with so many other respected community members —who went door-to-door with faith, dedication, and a dream.

Today, we are continuing that very spirit.

Over the past few weeks, we have been visiting homes across our community—connecting and sharing the vision for this new temple. What truly stands out is the overwhelming positivity, encouragement, and belief people have shown for temple expansion.

This journey is not just about raising funds—it is about building a collective future, strengthening our roots, and bringing our community even closer.

We are deeply grateful for every conversation, every blessing, and every gesture of support.

With folded hands, the Board and Trust of the Niagara Hindu Samaj has begun reaching out to our community with a humble Nivedan to support initiative of the new temple.
Over the coming weeks, we will be visiting families in our community to share an important initiative that the temple has undertaken for the future of our growing congregation. Today we had the privilege of meeting a wonderful family that has been associated with the temple for the past couple of decades. It was heartwarming to spend time together, discuss the vision ahead, and receive their encouragement and support for this noble cause.
Our temple has always grown with the blessings and generosity of the community, and we are grateful for every conversation, every suggestion, and every contribution made with faith and devotion.
We look forward to meeting many more families in the coming days and humbly request your continued blessings and support in whichever way you feel inspired to contribute.
