On January 16, 2013 MCC ( Mennonite Central Committee ) invited all of the local Mennonite pastors to a meeting to share ideas about how the churches could be more welcoming to the men and women who work on our farms. Dave Pritchard presented an urgent request from CWOP for support. MaryAnn Schlabach, from VIneland, shared stories of her treasured friendships which began the very first year of the farm work program in 1966! It was a meeting full of possibilities and paved the way for new opportunities to flourish!

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear friend Peter King. Peter was a long time supporter and volunteer with CWOP. Along side his wife Nancy, they would drive workers to church, cricket and other events. He was an integral part of the team that organized CWOP activities year after year. He will be truly missed. Funeral visitation will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church NOTL on Friday October 3 at 5- 8pm. Funeral service will be held on Saturday October 4 at 11 am at St. Andrews.
