Our church has suffered a devastating loss due to COVID 19. Dr. Wilma Morrison has left this earth to stand in God's presence and hear him say "Well done, thou good and faithful servant."

She was a Niagara Falls icon.

February 9, celebration of Black History month.

Tomorrow will have a time to bless the new top of our Communion table following the fire that damaged the old one. Carpet to be replaced next week. Thanks to Mr. Rick Dyer for his beautiful craftsmanship.

We were given the wonderful gift of a baptismal font from the choir and members of First Grantham United Church when the choir came to do a concert on Sunday, May 5. What a wonderful blessing.

December 24 we will be having 2 services. The 10:30am service will be the Christ candle, completion of the Advent series. At 6:00pm we will be having a service celebrating the nativity and birth, with lessons and carols. We will be including communion in the evening service. All are invited.

We had a wonderful weekend with the conference youth (and a nice group of adults as well) despite the fact that our a/c seems to be rebelling against any expectation of being fully functional. It was nice to have a full sanctuary with so many guests. It is always nice to have visitors join with us for worship.

As we move into February 2017 and the observance of Black History Month, we have a couple of special dates to remember. More information to come, but on Sunday February 19th at 3:00pm, we will be having a musical celebration of African-American "Negro" Spirituals. Come and join us for a time of singing, with some historical background provided as well. A free will offering will be taken at that time.
Also, on Sunday February 26, we will be finishing the month with a special service at 10:30am, with a luncheon and concert to follow. We will also be celebrating the 88th birthday of Dr. Wilma Morrison, noted historian of the Black History and Community and their contribution to the development and history in the Niagara Region. Please watch for further information.
