St. Ann Roman Catholic Church Established in 1913, our Roman Catholic church serves the culturally diverse community of Niagara Falls, while paying homage to its Italian beginnings.

Established in 1913 to meet the spiritual needs of Niagara Falls' Italian community, this beautiful parish has joyfully proclaimed a message of hope to both its dedicated congregation and to the greater community. Our first pastor, Rev. Telesphoro Zazza, and founding parishioners came together for mutual support, united in their Catholic faith and Italian heritage, so that Christ could be made present to them through the celebration of the holy sacraments, Eucharist, and charitable, good works. Today, we continue to pay homage to our historic roots and pray to Saint Ann for peace, love, and prosperity in our local and global communities. Whether you a local or a visitor, at Saint Ann, you are always family.

🙏🏻. POPE LEO XIV TO UNDERGO SURGERY TO REMOVE A LUNG NODULE — LET US PRAY FOR HIM

Pope Leo XIV has announced that he will undergo surgery in the coming days to remove a small, localized nodule discovered in his lung.

During his Angelus address on Sunday, October 11, 2026, the Holy Father revealed that doctors had detected the nodule during recent medical examinations.

According to the Pope, it was discovered at a very early stage and was well localized. Following his doctors' advice, he decided to undergo surgery to have it removed. The Vatican said the procedure was scheduled for the first days of the week, with recovery expected to take approximately one week.

The announcement has prompted Catholics around the world to unite in prayer for the Holy Father.

Rather than keeping his medical concern private, Pope Leo personally thanked the faithful for their spiritual closeness and entrusted himself to their prayers

The Pope has asked for our prayers. Let us not forget him in ours.

🙏 A PRAYER FOR POPE LEO XIV

Heavenly Father,

We entrust Pope Leo XIV into Your loving hands as he prepares to undergo surgery.

Guide the hands of his surgeons, grant wisdom to his doctors, and bless every person involved in his treatment and recovery.

Protect him from complications, ease any fear or anxiety he may experience, and grant him strength, peace, and healing.

Lord Jesus, Divine Physician, surround the Holy Father with Your mercy. Restore his health according to Your holy will and sustain him in his sacred mission to shepherd Your Church.

Bless him with renewed strength so that he may continue proclaiming the Gospel, encouraging the faithful, and working for peace throughout the world.

Blessed Virgin Mary, Mother of the Church, watch over Pope Leo and intercede for him before your Son.

St. Joseph, guardian of the Holy Family, pray for him.

St. Luke, patron of physicians, pray for his medical team.

May the Holy Spirit fill the Holy Father with courage, hope, and peace.

We ask all this through Christ our Lord.
