În această zi de mare praznic, când Biserica cinstește Adormirea Preasfintei Născătoare de Dumnezeu, să ne apropiem cu inimă smerită și cu recunoștință de Maica Domnului, aducându-i cuvinte de laudă și rugăciune:

„Bucură-te, Maica Făcătorului lumii, care te-ai suit la cele fără de grijă.
Bucură-te, ceea ce te-ai mutat la lărgimile cele mari ale cerului.
Bucură-te, că prin suirea ta ai sfințit cele patru stihii.
Bucură-te, că prin mergerea ta ai veselit cele cerești.
Bucură-te, ceea ce ai fost primită în frumosul Ierusalim de sus.
Bucură-te, ceea ce cu bucurie ai intrat în lăcașurile cele nefăcute de mâini omenești.

On this great feast day, as the Church honors the Dormition of the Most Holy Mother of God, let us draw near with humble hearts and gratitude to the Mother of our Lord, offering her words of praise and prayer:

Dumnezeu să odihnească în pace sufletul celui pomenit și să dăruiască mângâiere familiei și celor apropiați.
