TO31 – We Are More Than Just a Church
In an elegant and graceful fashion, the Pentecostal Missionary Church of Christ (4th Watch) of Toronto celebrated its 31st Church Anniversary and Thanksgiving Crusade on September 7th at the Prince Ballroom of the Pan Pacific Hotel. It was attended by members and guests alike, who came from various areas of the city and even as far as Ottawa, Montreal and Halifax.
Every element of the spectacle was executed exquisitely. Each segment left an impact on everyone in the venue. The lights, sounds, and ambiance of the place truly made the celebration satisfying and delightful. Their head pastors, Presbyter Joseph and Pastor Genalyn Concepcion, could not contain their joy seeing the people come together to celebrate another milestone for the Church.
The program started with a stirring performance by the MVT (Movement of Truth) dancers: Uplifting. Upholding. Elevating. It was the perfect set-up for an unforgettable experience that was about to transpire on such a special day. The gracious hosts not only steered the program but also clearly defined who the PMCC 4th Watch is. The place echoed in praise as the Praise and Worship Team led everyone in jubilant songs. The joyous mood continued throughout the afternoon.
Thrilling. Exciting. Fascinating. The performances offered to the Lord were paralleled with gratitude. The VBS 2025 students were excellent, and the Z Gen dancers' movements on stage were enchanting. The videos shown were truly inspiring to watch, especially the featured testimony: Pangarap. The afternoon created a splendid showcase of who we are as a church—unique, beautiful, and thankful. It resonated through the grateful hearts of those who offered their sacrificial and generous thanksgiving to God.
An event like this was made even more remarkable through the powerful preaching of the Word of God. With great pleasure, the Toronto church was blessed to have Presbyter Levi Ferriol as its keynote speaker. In his sermon, he emphatically stated the importance of serving God. It touched the hearts and resolve of the people in attendance, especially the number of souls who decided to accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour.
We are more than just a church. This is the testimony of God’s people in the heart of Canada. Since its pioneering years, from its humble beginnings, the PMCC 4th Watch of Toronto has risen to greater heights of service to God. Along the way, through obedience to the Goodman of the House and presently with the living apostle, Apostle Jonathan S. Ferriol, it continues to experience victories and triumphs. More souls are being added to His fold. More churches are being opened. More territories are being set foot on. His grace is more than enough. In TO31—God has been glorified!
