OK Facebook friends, I have one week to get at least 5 more campers to our Teen Camp. I need to raise $1779.75 in five days.
Here is the deal. I am going to swim from Georgina Island to the shore of our property non-stop tomorrow, to encourage a few last minute donors.

This is approximately over 3km's. Please tell your friends and help support our cause.

We have 25 sponsors for innercity kids to go to Sports Camp. We also have a bus and driver. Amazing! I'd like to do one last shout out to see if we can reach our goal of 30. (5 X $300 = $1500) Thanks everyone who has helped. We have to give our final numbers on Tuesday so let me know if you or someone you know can help. You are all awesome!

Dear Friends, Lori Wilson (Jr. Sports Camp Program Director) and I, Sandra Reid (Teen Sports Camp Program Director, have had a request for sponsors from Major Doug Hammond to sponsor inner-city kids and teens to go to our camps this August. Our goal is to get sponsorships for 16 more underprivileged campers each for both camps. 16 X $315+HST=$5695. Here's a little glimpse of our camp. http://lakesidesportscamps.com/. Lakeside Sports Camps are Christian Athletic Camps. The camps are instructional sports camps held at The Salvation Army Point Camp on Lake Simcoe. MAP Located just 45 minutes north of Toronto, the camp is equipped with a pool, lake access, archery, rock wall, high ropes course, basketball courts, soccer pitch and a baseball diamond to compliment our sports programs.

Sports Camp is the perfect sleepover sports camp to further develop in the sport of your choice and also to experience amazing experiences in other activities as well. Whether you are a sports enthusiast or just want to learn some basic skills in hockey, soccer, basketball and more, this camp serves both purposes. Hockey campers are bussed daily to National Training Rinks (NTR) in Newmarket to receive outstanding training by the NTR coaching staff. Soccer & basket ball campers have skills development & scrimmage daily at the camp. Alternate sports provides variety for athletic campers to receive instructions in sports they may have not played before.
