It was standing room only for Pastor Don‘s very last Christian Ed. class. After 43 years, Cedarview will surely miss his tremendously deep and challenging Bible teaching week after week after week. If you attended his class, it was impossible NOT to grow in your faith in Christ. ✝️

Join us twice this Sunday, June 14th, for Pastor Don’s second last Sunday at Cedarview.

In our morning gathering at 10:00 AM, Pastor Don will be sharing the message: “INTEGRITY OF HEART – THE KEY TO EVERYTHING,” teaching from Matthew 5:8; 23:25-28. We will also be celebrating communion together.

Following the morning service, grab a coffee or tea and find a good Christian Ed. class — they’re all over the building! (FYI: this will be Pastor Don‘s final Christian Ed. class, so you’ll want to get there early if you hope to find a seat!)

Then at 5:30 pm, in Pastor Don’s final Sunday evening service, he will speak on the topic: “THE TWO DIFFERENT WAYS GOD WILL HELP IN YOUR STRUGGLES,” teaching from Psalm 46:1-3. We will also celebrate believer’s baptism during our evening gathering. As always, enjoy coffee and tea in the lobby beforehand. Come early and take some time to connect with your church family!

We hope you’ll join us at both services this Sunday as we truly treasure the final days of Pastor Don’s decades long ministry at Cedarview!

We are thrilled to announce the appointment of our new Lead Pastor, Taylor Woodburn!

Following Sunday morning’s call to preach, and a strong affirmation from our members, we are excited to welcome Taylor, his wife Breanna, and their children Gabe, Seona, and Joella to the Cedarview family. They will be moving from Alberta to Newmarket this summer, with Taylor officially beginning his role on September 1, 2026.

As we celebrate this exciting milestone, we are deeply thankful to God for His faithfulness throughout the search process. We are grateful for His wisdom, guidance, and provision every step of the way, and for the unity and support shown by our church family during this journey.

This marks a new season for Cedarview, and we look forward with anticipation to all that God has in store. As Taylor and his family prepare for this transition, we invite you to keep them in your prayers and wish them well as they make Newmarket their new home.

We are excited about the future and confident that God will continue to lead and guide Cedarview as we serve our community, share His love, and make an impact both locally and around the world.
