by Ptr. Philip Chiao

We live with purpose—to know Christ, live out His truth, and faithfully pass the faith to the next generation.

2 Timothy 2:2 (NLT)
Now teach these truths to other trustworthy people who will be able to pass them on to others.

Good day!

The Word of God today reminds us that God is not the source of confusion and disorder, but of peace. Apostle Paul was addressing a church where worship had become chaotic because people were competing for attention instead of building one another up.

God’s character teaches us something important: where God is at work, there should be a desire for peace, clarity, and order. This does not mean life will always be calm or that we will never face problems. It means that even in difficult situations, we can choose to respond with wisdom, patience, and love rather than adding more confusion, because sometimes maturity is not being the loudest person in the room, but knowing when to listen, when to speak, and when to bring peace.
When we reflect God’s character, we bring peace instead of confusion, and unity instead of division.

Let’s reflect on this: Am I bringing peace into my relationships, family, workplace, and church or am I adding to the noise?

Prayer Guide:
Lord, help me reflect Your character today. Give me wisdom to speak with grace, patience to listen, and humility to bring peace wherever I go. May my words and actions build others up and reflect Your presence. In Jesus name, Amen.

Good day!

Our words are powerful tools. They can hurt people and tear them down, or they can encourage, strengthen, and build them up. In this passage, Apostle Paul teaches believers how to use their spiritual gifts in a way that benefits the whole community.

Speaking in tongues can be a personal way of communicating with God, but when believers gather together, the focus should be on helping others understand and grow. One of the core purposes of Christian community is oikodomē, a construction word meaning BUILDING UP. Prophecy, in this context, is not merely predicting the future; it is speaking God’s truth in a way that directly strengthens, encourages, and comforts the people around us.

This reminds us to be intentional with what we say. Whether we are at home, at work, or with friends, our words should reflect God’s love and bring encouragement to others.

Ask yourself today: Are my words building people up or bringing them down?

Prayer Guide:
Father, thank You for hearing the deepest thoughts and prayers of our hearts. Help me to be mindful of the words I speak. Give me wisdom to use my words to encourage, strengthen, and comfort others. May everything I say reflect Your love and help build others up. In Jesus name, Amen.

Good day!

The Word of God defines true love as an active, daily choice to be patient, kind, and selfless toward others.

True love is more than a feeling, it is a choice and a way of living. God reminds us today that love is patient when others test us, kind when we could be harsh, and humble when we could seek recognition. Love does not keep score of wrongs or give up when things become difficult.

As followers of Christ, we are called to love others the way Jesus loves us, that is with patience, grace, forgiveness, and faithfulness. Today, let us ask God to help us show love not only through our words, but through our actions.

Let us evaluate ourselves:
Is there someone today who needs to experience God’s love through my patience, kindness, or forgiveness?

Prayer Guide:
Lord, teach me to love with a patient heart, a gentle spirit, and a forgiving attitude. Help me reflect Your love in everything I say and do. In Jesus name, Amen.

Good day!

We live in a world where people are often divided by their background, social status, opinions, abilities, and appearance. People easily judge others based on how talented, successful, visible, or useful they seem to be.

But Apostle Paul reminds us that when we put our faith in Christ, our identity is no longer defined by our background, achievements, or position. Through the Holy Spirit, God brings us together as one family, the living body of Christ.

God gives each person different gifts, not so that we can compete with one another, but so that we can support and strengthen one another. Our value in God's family is not determined by how big or noticeable our role is. We belong because of God's grace, and we have been brought into one body through the same Holy Spirit.

Prayer Guide:
Lord, thank You for making us part of one body. Help us appreciate the gifts of others, faithfully use the gifts You have given us, and serve together with love and humility. May our unity reflect Your presence and bring glory to You. In Jesus name, Amen.

Good Day,
Have a blessed week ahead!

This is about the Communion, which should be a place where everyone comes together in unity and remembers Jesus’ sacrifice. But in Corinth, some wealthy believers were being selfish. They enjoyed the best food and drank too much before the poorer believers could arrive, leaving them hungry and embarrassed.
Apostle Paul reminds them that we cannot truly honor Jesus through Communion while treating His people poorly. To “discern the body” means to recognize both what Christ did for us and the importance of His church as His body. We cannot claim to love God while ignoring, hurting, or creating division among His people.

The communion or Lord’s Supper is more than simply eating bread and drinking from the cup because it is a time to remember Jesus, honor His sacrifice, and examine our hearts. The Word of God reminds us not to approach Communion carelessly or just as a religious routine.

Before we take Communion, we can pause and evaluate ourselves: Am I truly honoring Jesus? Is there anything in my heart that I need to surrender to God? Am I treating others with the love and unity that Christ desires?

Prayer Guide:
Lord Jesus, help me never to take Your sacrifice for granted. Search my heart, correct what needs to be corrected, and teach me to honor You in my words, actions, and relationships. In Jesus name, Amen.

Be Blessed with Today's Message:
One Heart & One Soul Serving One Kingdom (1-1-1)
By Ptr. Leo Causarin

Acts 4:32, 34-35 New Living Translation
32 All the believers were united in heart and mind. And they felt that what they owned was not their own, so they shared everything they had.

34 There were no needy people among them, because those who owned land or houses would sell them 35 and bring the money to the apostles to give to those in need.
