In today’s service, we continued with the story of Lot.
If you missed it, here is a simple way to put it:
Don’t let a "golden opportunity" blind you to a toxic environment. Lot chose the best land but lost his peace, while Abraham chose integrity and gained a legacy. This story is a powerful reminder of the results of our choices: Abraham’s obedience to God’s lead brought protection and a future, while Lot’s disobedience—and his desire for worldly wealth—led him into a life of compromise and regret.

Last week's service focused on Joshua 1:1-6, which speaks to the question of "what's next" in our lives. The passage emphasizes the importance of:
* Courage: Facing the unknown with bravery, trusting in God's guidance.
* Obedience: Following God's commands and living according to His word.
* God's Presence: Remembering that God is always with us, even in challenging times.
Perhaps the pastor encouraged you to reflect on these themes and how they apply to your own journey. Remember these words: "Be strong and very courageous. Be careful to observe all the law that Moses my servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right or to the left, that you may have success wherever you go." (Joshua 1:7)
May these words from God's word guide you as you step into the unknown.

A New Year Celebration of Unity and Thanksgiving

As we step into the new year, we are reminded of the unfailing love and grace of God that has carried us through the past year. This year, three churches have come together as one body of Christ, united in spirit, to celebrate the promise of God's faithfulness and to give Him thanks for all He has done.

Together, we stand in awe of the Lord’s goodness — His promises that never fail, His protection, and His continuous guidance. As we reflect on the past, we also look forward to the new year with great anticipation, trusting that the Lord will continue to lead us into greater blessings, joy, and peace.

We gather with hearts full of gratitude, acknowledging that every step we take is by His grace and favor. The unity of these three churches represents a powerful testimony of what God can do when His people come together in love, faith, and prayer. We come to thank Him for His promises that have been fulfilled and to declare our faith in His ongoing faithfulness.

In this season of renewal, we hold on to the promise that God will continue to be with us, guiding us toward His perfect will. We stand firm, knowing that His love never falters and that His plans for us are good. As we enter 2025, let us walk in the light of His promises, ever confident in His power to bring us through every challenge.

Together, we declare that we will keep holding on to His promises. We will continue to trust in His Word, serve with love, and build His Kingdom. Let this new year be a year of growth, victory, and deepened faith as we live in the strength of God's unwavering promises.
