Celebrate National Indigenous Peoples Day with us on Friday, June 19 at Moody Park.

Join us for a free, all-ages celebration featuring live music and cultural performances, storytelling, physical activities, arts and crafts, Indigenous vendors, and delicious food from local food trucks.

This year's event includes a special performance by Juno Award-winning artist Fawn Wood at 12:05 pm, along with teachings and performances from Indigenous artists, dancers, drummers, and knowledge keepers throughout the day.

We're celebrating a few days early this year to welcome school groups, but everyone is invited to attend. Drop by any time between 9:30 am and 2:30 pm.

Looking for are prayer resource? Check out the fabulous contributions of women from across the Lutheran communion - including PastorAneeta Saroop who preached last weekend at Pastor Courtenay’s installation service.

“Women’s praying together has always carried a deeply transformative and even subversive dimension: creating spaces of solidarity, nurturing communities of care, sustaining faith under oppression, and opening possibilities for justice, healing, and new life,” said LWF General Secretary Rev. Dr Anne Burghardt today during a webinar.

Lutheran women from around the world gathered online for the launch of ‘Together We Pray,' a new prayer book celebrating the wisdom, faith and witness of women.
