CEMETERY NOTIFICATION:
Due to some serious issues we've encountered in recent years regarding burials and placement of headstones, foot markers, etc., please read and share the following All Saints Memorial Cemetery Regulations attached.

There have been instances of:
markers installed on unsold plots or on plots owned by someone else,
markers installed in the wrong location on a grave (i.e. - foot markers installed in the middle of a plot),
oversize markers being used as foot markers,
markers being installed incorrectly (i.e. - crooked and not in alignment with the main headstone),
markers installed on the word of family members without prior approval or direction from a cemetery custodian.

This is not acceptable! The memory of a grieving family member may not be accurate. You do not want your loved one buried in, or memorialized on, another family's plot.

Any headstone or foot marker MUST have approval from a cemetery custodian PRIOR to installation. There are size restrictions, so please read the document carefully before ordering a monument.

Violation of these regulations could result in the need for removal. Following regulations will eliminate this possibility.

Just curious if any women of the former All Saints Church would be interested in getting together for social gatherings a few times a year to catch up and enjoy each other's company?

These get-togethers could take the form of tea and a chat at each other's homes, going out to a restaurant together or some other format you might suggest.

Please forward this to any of the ladies from All Saints that you think might be interested. We will reach out to those who aren't on FB, but would appreciate your help spreading the word, as well as your thoughts and ideas.

It is with great sorrow that All Saint’s Anglican Church, Collieries Parish in New Waterford is announcing our last service and the closure of our building effective September 25th, 2022.

Our Church Council and Parish Council welcome all in the community to attend our final service that will be both, a service of baptism and a service of deconsecration, to be held on September 25th at 11:00 am with a social gathering to follow.

The Anglican Church has been a presence in New Waterford for 114 years with The Church of England’s first service held in New Waterford on September 3rd, 1908.

Since this time, there have been 30 Clergy Persons supporting our Anglican community in New Waterford.

The past few years have not been kind to All Saints Anglican Church, a decline in attendance, the pandemic preventing us from holding services, and an aging building.

With the building unable to hold services, our congregation, with the approval of Parish Council and the Bishop, we have made the difficult decision that we must close.

I would personally like to extend my gratitude to all in the church community, those in the greater community, those past and present, who’s families have been devoted to supporting All Saints Anglican Church throughout the years, along with clergy, priest’s in charge, lay ministers, wardens, ladies auxiliary members, those who contributed to the building of the current church building, both financially and to those who volunteered their labour , those who have given their time to sit on various councils an committees, and to the greater community who have supported our missional work in the community.

We are forever grateful.

God Bless
Lynn Webb
Warden
