pastor Dave was not only my pastor but he was also my husband and I loved him with all my heart I respected him in both of these callings.
He was a man that gave his all in everything he did,he fulfilled the scriptures in loving the brethren and had love and compassion on the lost.He preached the Word of God with all that was in him,he was a no-nonsense preacher,preached it like it was,you either had to love him or hate him..The most kind hearted person that I had ever known.
He was never any different, ( what you saw was what you got ),not one way on Sunday and another way on Monday,No sir he was real. He portrayed the joy of the Lord always and forever.Even when he was hurting.He had a saying that we can all put to good use in our lives,he would say ( I will not let the devil rob my joy ).He was quick to forgive.
He was a great example to me and to most of them that sat under his ministry.
I miss my best friend but I know he is happy and awaits the time till we could get back together, I never really lost him cause he will forever be in my heart,he just went on just a little before me but one day ,him and I will worship our sweet Jesus together. -Pastor Melva Williams
